A modern well maintained 2 bed apartment situated in the white village of Bubion in Las Alpujarras, Andalucia, Southern Spain. The apartment is a two bed-roomed traditional style apartment on one floor and is situated at the southern end of the village of Bubion. It is available to rent as a holiday home throughout the year and has access to a large swimming pool with a sun bathing and BBQ area, open during July and August. Bubion is an enchanting, peaceful village. It lies at 1,350 metres up in the heart of Las Alpujarras, a charming region of astonishing beauty on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada in Andalucia, Southern Spain. The views in all directions are exceptional. The Alpujarras gives you a choice of holiday. Whether you prefer a quiet retreat or a week full of activity such as hiking in the high Sierras, mountain biking or horse riding - 'A Place in Bubion' is an ideal place for you.

There is a private terrace with superb views. The apartment has access to a large swimming pool and patio area. There is plenty of space for sunbathing and a BBQ area. The swimming pool is open in July and August.

Coast/Beach
The Costa Tropical with beach resorts of Motril, Salobrena, Almunecar and La Herradura are 1 hour by car.

Travel
Nearest airport is Granada (domestic flights only) - 1 hours drive and alternatively Malaga which is 2 hours drive or Almeria which is a 2.5 hours drive by car.

Distances
The apartment is located at the bottom of the white village of Bubion. Just a mile away is Capileira and 2 miles away is Pampaneira. Granada is an hours drive and the market town of Orgiva is less than half an hour by car.

Further details
Bubion has a selection of good bars and restaurants and a small but well stocked supermarket. The nearby village of Capileria has a bank, bakery, and butchers. There is also a weekly market (Tuesday's) for vegetables and fresh fish.
