La Cala de Mijas is the only fishing village left on the coast between Fuengirola and Marbella. If you are looking for somewhere close to the beach (30 metres), with views of the sea from the bedrooms and sun terrace, without having to cross the motorway; which is in a village; surrounded by fabulous restaurants, then come to Nunver 23 Mijas Playa Club, La Cala. Within a few kilometres is the renowned La Cala Golf Course. This is in addition to over 30 golf courses within 25km of the complex. If you are interested in horse racing, we have the only track on the coast very close by. Have you ever been to the races at 11pm in the evening? Notes on prices
Rates are based on a maximum of 6 guests and include cleaning service prior to your arrival and on departure, and all linen/towels (except beach towels). A 30% non refundable deposit is required at time of booking, the balance payable full 6 weeks before occupation. Changeover is Sunday. If you are based in the UK we will send you the keys 7 to 10 days before you go. If outside UK you can collect from our our agents in La Cala de Mijas.

Changeover day
Changeover is on Sunday. Access to the property is from 4pm. You are required to vacate by 11am on date of departure. This allows time for the property to be cleaned.

Living Rooms: Very large lounge and dining area, with Sky Free-to-view 32" LCD TV, video, and music centre. DVD player. Air-conditioning and gas heaters.
Other: Sun terrace on top floor with views of the sea and mountains, plus 2 balconies and an enclosed patio area at the front and back of property. There is also a BBQ and a Safe in the front bedroom.

Notes on accommodation
Towels, linen and cleanings are included each week of a let. If you require a cot please allow £3 per day (we do have access to a further one if required for £4 per day for the 2). We can also supply a high chair at £3 per day. They all need to be booked in advance.

Accessibility
While it is a townhouse, with 3 floors, including a sun terrace, it is on the flat so has good access, being only 15 meters from the access road on to the complex.

Outside
23 Mijas Playa Club is surrounded by private shared gardens, and include patios at front and rear and on the roof, with outdoor furniture for 6, including 2 sun loungers on the roof. The 2 swimming pools on the complex are large and are shared with other residents on the complex.

Coast/Beach
Mijas Playa Club is situated in La Cala de Mijas Village, 30 metres from the renowned La Cala beach. Ideal if you do not wish to have a car.

Golf
Within a few kilometres is the renowned La Cala Golf Course. This is in addition to over 30 golf courses within 25km of the complex.

Skiing
We are around 2 hours drive from the Sierra Nevada Skiing Resort. So you can ski in the morning and be on the beach in the afternoon.

Special interest holidays
If you are interested in horse racing, we have the only track on the coast very close by. Have you ever been to the races at 11pm in the evening?

Travel
La Cala is a 25 minute drive from Malaga Airport, and can be reached by taxi or hire car. You can also catch the train from Malaga Airport for a few euro's to Fuengirola, and get the bus to La Cala de Mijas for a few euro's more.

As the property is in the village, just off the beach of La Cala, and is surrounded by restaurants, you do not need a car.

The property is in the village of La Cala de Mijas, 30 mtrs from the beach. It is around 7 kilometers to Fuengirola - 15 kilometers to Marbella - 30 kilometers to Malaga.

About the owner
We are Sue and John Dixon from Warwickshire England. We spend as much time as we can of time in our townhouse at the Mijas Playa Club, in the heart of village of La Cala de Mijas. It has everything, from a wonderful beach, many places to eat, 2 supermarkets, and one of the nicest village of local Spanish people.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We found the property, like most people who stumble across La Cala, by accident. We were looking for Mijas Costa, and did not realise it consists of a number of localities. Anyone driving down to the beach will fall in love with the place, like we did.

Unique benefits of the property
La Cala de Mijas is 30 minutes from the airport at Malaga. Our property is only 30mtrs from the beach, on the second line of townhouses on the Mijas Playa Club, so we get the views of the beach and see, but do not get the noise. We are also only a few hundred meters from most of the restaurants, and supermarkets in La Cala, and therefore do not need a car. We have two swimming pools on the Mijas Playa Club for use by owners and guests. For the golfers there are over 30 courses within half an hour drive. For people who want to ski, we are 3 hours away from the mountains. On average, over 50% of the people who stay at our property, book again.
