This large, beautiful farmhouse stands alone on a hill, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. It is a paradise for children, who can observe the grazing cows, run around the lush, green fields, splash about in the pool or play in the playground. The house is inviting and comfortably furnished. The swimming pool (8m x 4m) is surrounded by a large, grassy area and deck chairs and lies approximately 30m from the house. In addition, there is a covered porch furnished with a long table and a BBQ/grill, a playground and a recreation room with a ping-pong table. The closest neighbours are approximately 1km away, and the house looks out across a wonderfully pristine and picturesque landscape. This is an idyllic option for large groups or families, who wish to spend a relaxing time in an incredibly peaceful place. The last 2km of road leading up to the house aren't in the driving challenge. The landscape at the entrance to the Pyrenees is dominated.

Special interest holidays
The nearest town Berga has a pretty old centre, and is particularly famous for its traditional festival 'La Patum' over Corpus Christi in June, a noisy and lively fiesta with several days of dancing, fireworks and good food! The region el 'Berguedà' is know for its many Romanesque churches and buildings. From this location, you can easily combine a rural holiday with a day-trip to Barcelona - due to the excellent road network you get to the Catalan capital in less than 1 hour.
Gironella: 3km. A cosy little town at the bank of the river Llobregat. We provide a map of shops, restaurants etc.
Berga:10 km. Quite a large town on the edge of the Pyrenees, where you’ll find big supermarkets, really nice restaurants, shopping areas, and bars. It is also a very pretty town with many really good sites.
Manresa: 30 km. The largest nearby town with 66,879 inh. By experiencing the history of Manresa, you will also experience the history of Cataloniaas.
Travel
Barcelona, Girona and Costa Brava are all situated around 100km from the house. We are willing to pass on our tips regarding these cities if you should be interested.
