This apartment is light and airy with fantastic sea and mountain views. It is modern, comfortable and well-equipped. The roof terrace is ideal for sun-bathing whilst the covered front terrace offers welcome shade during most of the day as well as comfortable outdoor dining space. There are 3 pools, all surrounded by grassy and shaded areas. There are many bars, restaurants and cafes within walking distance of the apartment. Both English and Spanish supermarkets are close by, as is the small weekly street market. Overlooking the magnificent bay of Alicante, Gran Alacant is a growing suburb of the Spanish holiday town - Santa Pola. 7 kms from Alicante airport, Gran Alacant offers a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants and is 5 mins from the nearest beach. Gran Alacant enjoys the lovely Costa Blanca weather with an average 310 days per year sunshine. July / August temperatures are typically around 30 degrees.

Kitchen: Compact kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, washing machine, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster iron and ironing board and a good range of crockery, cutlery, utensils etc.
Living Rooms: Large living room with 2 comfy sofas, one of which converts to a double and/or single bed. TV, DVD and CD players. Dining table and 4 chairs.
Other: The front terrace has table and chairs and can comfortably accommodate 6 diners. The huge roof terrace has both dining and sunbathing furniture plus barbecue area.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Washing of bedlinen, towels and cleaning is done on departure. Throughout your stay it is your responsibility to empty rubbish to avoid flies. Towels are provided for internal use only. Apartment should be left in a clean state.

 

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is ideal for family holidays. There is a TV, DVD and Spanish TDT which has some English language programmes and films. The lounge also has a CD player and a few DVDs and CDs.

Coast/Beach
A lovely sandy beach is a 20 minute walk away, a few minutes bus ride or 2 min car journey. There are many miles of beautiful beaches north and south of the immediate area.

Golf
There are currently two 18 hole golf courses around a half hour drive away, one in Alicante and one in Cuidad Quesada (Rojales).

Travel
Alicante is a 10 minute drive away. All amenities are within walking distance therefore a car is not necessary. Taxis and a bus service are available locally.

Distances
10 mins by car to Santa Pola and Alicante. A regular bus service links Gran Alacant to both these places. Benidorm and its theme parks, including Terra Mitica, are within 1 hour's drive away.

Further details
Gran Alacant has many shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and banks, all within walking distance. A road train runs hourly, everyday, linking all the commercial and residential areas of Gran Alacant,and also Carabassi beach. Santa Pola has all the usual seaside amenities plus a marina, fishing port, aquarium, fairground, castle and town square. It also has bus links to other towns and cities. The September Fiesta are well worth seeing. Alicante is a large, bustling and cosmopolitan city with the added attraction of a fantastic marina and port. The night life of Alicante is renowned for its liveliness, particularly around the port area. El Castillo de Santa Barbera (the castle) in Alicante is outstanding and offers breath-taking views in all directions. Fantastic Fiestas in July.

Booking notes
A £100 deposit is required to secure a booking. This amount is held as a damage deposit and will be refunded by cheque, minus any deductions for damage/breakages etc, at the end of the stay. The full cost of your stay is payable, in cash euros, on arrival. Laundry and cleaning costs are included. Alicante & Murcia transfers can be arranged. Enquire re. prices. Welcome pack 10 Euro extra, payable on arrival.
Minimum booking is 1 week June-Sept, 3 nights during the rest of the year.
