The apartment is situated in the Roda Golf and Beach Resort in Los Alcazares. It is located on the ground floor with access to front and rear terraces and grassy areas, so lots of room for sunbathing and playing. The pool is easily accessed from the back door and it is minutes from the golf course. The apartment is light and airy with lots of windows as it is located at the end of a block. There is private underground parking and easy access to the front door. The private beach club provides private areas for sunbathing, a dip in the pool or a splash in the sea and has restaurant and bar facilities.

Accessibility
The property has no stairs. The apartment can be accessed from the underground garage via a lift and there is a ramp from the footpath leading to the front door.
Outside
As this is a ground floor apartment there are 2 good sized terraces at the front and back of the apartment. The terraces lead onto grassed areas so there is plenty of room to play or to sunbath.
The front terrace and grassed area cannot be accessed by anyone else, so is quite private. The back grassed area is spacious and leads to the swimming pool.
Coast/Beach
There is an exclusive beach club at La Manga del Mar Menor which can only be used by residents and guests.
Los Alcazares was awarded four EC blue flags for its beaches. Las Palmeras, El Espejo, Los Narejos and Manzanares all connected by the promenade and provide fresh water, disabled access, sports and play equipment plus numerous decorative elements.

Travel
Roda Golf and Beach resort is just a five minute drive from San Javier airport and 40 minutes from Alicante. The beaches of the Mar Menor are 1.5km.
Distances
Some 20 kilometres inland, the city of Murcia was founded on the banks of the Segura river by the Moorish leader Abd-ar-Rahman II in 825 AD. Today, it is the capital city of the Murcia region. The large bay of Cartagena about 15km provides a natural harbour making it an excellent commercial and naval port. The city was founded around 227 BC by the Carthaginians and was originally called Carthago Nova. Torrevieja sits on the Mediterranean about 30 km north and Alicante is about 40kms.

Cartagenas Roman Theatre is one of the largest in Spain and the Roman amphitheatre. In Murcia visit the cathedral with extraordinary gothic elements. At Salzillo Museum, enjoy the procession images that started one of the oldest traditions in Murcia.
Must do:
Mar Menor, Europe’s largest salt lake, Murcia is recognised as being one of Europe’s finest water-sport destinations. Wealth of water sports for all the family, from swimming, snorkeling and diving, to sailing waterskiing and more.
What's new:
The port in Cartagena, pier Alfonso XII is a beautiful modern place to enjoy a wide range of tapas bars, shops or simply taking a stroll.
Don't go home without:
Visiting the wine museum in Bullas, an experience of tradition, passion and flavours, Bullas situated in the North-East of the region just an hour and a half from San Javier Airport is well known for its unique wines.

We recommend you sample the fresh delicious tastes of the “Huerta” vegetables. (Europe’s finest market garden).

Cycling:
As it is so flat cycling is very popular in Los Alcazares and bikes can be hired at the Oasis Service Centre at the back of the Bygones pub. I have also included a price list for bike hire from Meike & Rudi at the back of this pack. You can also hire motorbikes behind the Deutsche Bank at Oasis.

The local tourist information office in Los Alcazares can also provide lots of up-to-date literature regarding local events and places to visit in English.
