PLEASE do not be put off by our cheap prices, our accommodation is a hobby to us rather than a business and we want to give you the opportunity of experiencing our little peice of heaven. A generous complimentary pack and WIFI Wireless Internet access are included in the price. You can stay for longer or shorter. Our changeover day is totally flexible. Reductions for long lets. If the 1 bedroom apartment is booked, then enquire about the 3 bedroom apartment at the 1 bed price.

Changeover day
Flexible. Checking in/out times depend on if we have guests staying before or after you. If so, your belongings can be kept safe for you. As a guide, checkin is usually around 3.30pm and checkout around 11am.

Spacious 3 bedroom holiday home with a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bunk-bedroom. The bathroom is fitted with a full size bath with overhead shower. The living/dining area is open plan next to the fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, toaster, fridgefreezer. With Sky TV, DVD player and a wide selection of DVDs. A cot and highchair are available at no extra cost and also a selection of children's toys.

Ideal for large families or groups wanting to holiday together but also have their own space. Renting these two apartments together gives joint outside facilities such as patio area, splash pool, BBQ, swings, slide and more, but separate bathrooms, kitchens, living/dining areas (inc Sky TV and DVD) and bedrooms - comprising in total two double rooms, one twin room and a bunk bedroom. A cot and highchair are available at no extra cost. Ample parking available.

 

Notes on accommodation
Our holiday homes are very flexible and designed to cater for families, couples or groups. The apartments have a washing machine, iron, ironing board, hair dryer and have Sky TV and DVD Player. Free Wifi wireless internet access. Ceiling fans throughout and heating in the winter months. Fly netting on all windows and doors. Cot and other equipment available at no extra cost. BBQ and shaded pergola area and ample parking.

Accessibility
Inside the homes and on the patio area it is all one level, there are three steps down to the garden and a further four to the car park.

Outside
Pool with underwater lighting (3.7m x 3.7m x 1m deep - Safer for children and elderly). Fenced garden with swings, slide, swing ball, barbecue. Small animals to pet and feed including, dwarf goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, peacock, tortoises, dogs, cats, guinea pigs etc in safe enclosure. The owners look after the animals but you can pet and feed them if you wish. Off road parking. Ideal for families who want their children to be happy, entertained and safe whilst the parents relax. Great for people who like walking in the beautiful countryside with spectacular wildlife. If you bring your own laptop you can enjoy surfing the net or working outside in the sunshine. Ample parking should you wish a break from staying in your motor home. Fantastic landscape for photographers and artists.

Coast/Beach
15 minutes drive to the brilliant beaches, bars and restuarants at San Juan de Los Terreros. 25 mins to Aguilas, 35 minutes to Mojacar and Garrucha, Vera.

Golf
Our closest course is 15 minutes away called the Mundo Aguilon near San Juan de Los Terreros. There are many more golf courses within 30 to 45 minutes drive. Valle del Este, Desert Springs, Marina Playa Mojacar, Cortijo el Grande, Mundo Aguilon at San Juan de los Terreros. We can provide a taxi service for a small fee. Skiing
Two hours to the Sierra Nevada for great skiing.

Special interest holidays
Centro Hipico Almanzora Horse Riding stables is just 3km along a country road so the whole family can learn to ride a horse or go out for a hack through the orange groves, go on a horse and cart or relax in the bar/restaurant. Travel
Almeria airport is about an hours drive away. Murcia San Javier about 70 minutes drive and Alicante 90 minutes drive. www.carjet.com seem very good for car hire. The airlines with cheap flights to Almeria, Murcia and Alicante airports include Ryanair, British Airways, Easyjet, Flybe, Jet2, Monarch, Skyscanner, BMIbaby, Airberlin, Thomsonfly.

Distances
Horse riding stables with bar/restaurant 3km or 3 minutes drive (free taxi service available). 5 minutes drive to nearest village with shops and bars.
10 minutes to main towns with all facilities eg Huercal Overa and Pulpi.

Further details
In the homes we provide maps, brochures and lots of information about things to do in the area. Excellent hospital 15 mins drive away. Numerous family orientated inexpensive bars, restaurants and Spanish tapas bars to appeal to all tastes etc within 10 minutes drive. Olympic Size open swimming pool in Huercal Overa. Numerous local festivals, fiestas and Carnivals throughout the year - Ask for details.

Booking notes
25% deposit required asap to secure the booking. The remaining 75% is to be paid upon arrival with a €100 refundable security deposit.

Thanks for a wonderful holiday Anna, Andy, kids and ruby the little canine landlady! It might possibly be one of the most beautiful desert vistas we have witnessed or the bluest mountain morning and reddest summer sky of all our European travels. Anna & Andy are probably the most wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to create brilliant moments and recommendations that are hard to forget! We were given freshly picked watermellon and learnt the lye of the land in detail so that we soon came to love it! We have loved the character and history of the villa, Casa Ana, the sunsets, sunrises, squeeks of the guinee pigs and cries of the shy baby owls the solid warmth of the land and the family that surround this lovely place, we will hold close to our hearts. My husband, Andy and I and our four children and various animals have lived in Spain for 7 years and love every minute. My husband has an estate agency in Huercal Overa called VossHomes and I look after the holiday homes, children and our animals. Our children go to the local schools.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We wanted to buy a property in this area because Huercal Overa is more "Spanish" than other areas and we liked the relaxed way of life here. We just love the scenery and know that everything we need like shops, restaurants, beaches, schools etc are close by.

Unique benefits of the property
Apart from all the benefits below we just want to offer our guests a value for money, clean, friendly relaxing environment to enjoy their holiday whether as a couple or extended family. We like to be able have peace and quiet, but still have plenty to do and the children can play safely. Our petting animals are great fun and educational. Because we are a km off the main road we do not have to worry about traffic and we can go for walks and bike rides. Especially to the horse riding stables and restaurant. The holiday homes have all the mod cons of well equipped kitchens, baths, showers, Sky, wifi internet, hifi, DVD player with various films & inside and outside games. We only have a 15 minute drive to the beach, but do not have the noise that seaside accommodation often has.
