The cave house has an ideal location, it is situated in a very peaceful quarter and at a time few minutes walk from the centre of the city where one can enjoy the authentic spirit of Granada with its typical tapas bars. The house offers a tourist to experience living in a typical Granada cave enjoying all the modern facilities. The peculiarity of the cave is a nice feeling of piece and tranquility where natural humidity and temperature make unnecessary any additional heat all the year round. The cave house is divided into two parts, one of which is a normal house that includes a kitchen and a dining room; on the first floor there is a bedroom with views to Granada and an en-suite bathroom. And the other part of the house is the cave with a living room, a bedroom and an en-suite bathroom. The house has a magnificent terrace with views to Granada. All this makes the enchanting place cosy and comfortable.

Coast/Beach
The Costa Tropical of Granada Province is only 45 minutes by car. Including the pretty villages of Salobrena and Almunecar, resort towns with many attractive beaches. Other places that you can visit are: in Motril you can taste a good fish, La Herradura offers excellent water sport facilities, Marina del Este yacht harbour, the naturist beach, Playa Cantarrijan.

Golf
Two 18 hole golf courses within 30 mins drive of house. The City of Granada golf club and the brand new Santa Clara golf club boasting the longest course in Andalucia.

Skiing
The Sierra Nevada Ski resort, which is located 35 km from the centre of Granada and is only a 45-minute drive from the property, has five months of snow with the ski season normally lasting from the beginning of December until the end of April or beginning of May.

Special interest holidays
The house is close to the Alhambra and the Auditorium Manuel de Falla. You can visit the Generalife garden, Sacromonte, Albayzin. In the suburbs Alpujarras, Sierra Nevada, Guadix, Lecrin Valley, Tropical Coast (Almuñecar, Salobreña) are very nice.

Granada Airport 15 minutes by taxi, 30 euros by taxi. Malaga airport 1 hour 15 minutes by car.
Serviced by Ryanair flights from Liverpool, Stansted and East Midlands. Malaga airport 1 hr 15 mins drive.

Distances
The cave house has a magnificent location, tourists can go walking to the Alhambra as well as to the centre and the city's historic part to the old Moorish neighbourhood Albaicin.
A few minutes walk from typical 'tapas bars' and shops. A cave house close to Auditorium 'Manuel de Falla'. 35 km from Sierra Nevada. 65 km from Tropical Coast. 20 km from Lecrin Valley. 50 km from Alpujarras (Capileira, Lanjaron, Pampaneira, Bubion). The Sierra de Huetor National Park is 15 mins from the house.

Further details
The house is in close proximity (8 mins) to a range of supermarkets (Calle Molinos- Campo del Principe), banks, pharmacy, the numerous and varied restaurants, cafes and bars. You can take flamenco dance classes or flamenco guitar classes in the city of Granada. You can visit the cave bars of Sacromonte, a must see, and wonderful authentic and free gypsy flamenco.
