The Jalon Valley is located just inland from Calpe and is untouched by coastal tourism, it is very peaceful and offers a more traditional Spanish experience. An idyllic countryside setting, lined with citrus groves and vineyards. A wide range of activities can be found in this area, including walking, cycling and hiking. Our villa is in the sleepy village of Lliber & very close to the old town of Jalon with local markets, bars, cafes and restaurants where you can sample local wine made from the moscatel grape. Our villa is situated within 5000sqm of private grounds in a very exclusive area. Set amongst almond and olive trees with majestic mountain views in all directions. Landscaped gardens surround the villa and private swimming pool. Our villa is luxurious and spacious. Beamed wooden ceiling to lounge with log burner. Tastefully decorated and furnished to the highest standards throughout. Patio doors lead from living area to the outside covered naya for al fresco dining.

We will try our best to suit your needs. Departure by 10am (outgoing guests). Arrival 4pm (incoming guests).

Kitchen: Fully fitted old Spanish wooden luxury fitted kitchen gas hob, extractor fan, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster. Large marble work tops throughout.
Living Rooms: Very large 55sqm living room and dining area. Log fire, TV, sofa and chairs.
Other: We can offer paella or tapas evenings, cooked in the villa and served on the covered naya. We can also cater for any special occasions.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Luxury bed linen and towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. Villa is cleaned before your visit and at the end of your visit. Extra maid services are available at extra cost if required.

 

Notes on accommodation
The villa is very spacious and beautifully furnished with quality soft furnishings and bed linen. Heating is provided by gas central heating and a log burning fire. During the winter it is warm and cosy. Fans and window blinds keep the villa cool in summer. We have 2 entrance doors to the front of the villa. So if two families wanted to share they have separate areas if required. The villa is all on one level and is suitable for all ages. Ample car parking areas.

Accessibility
The villa is on a flat level plot. All rooms within the villa are large and on one level giving easy access to all rooms. Tarmac roads lead to the villa with a short unmade up section to our door. Roads are suitable for all cars.

Outside
Our private (sole use by villa) swimming pool is large 10x5m with outside Roman steps leading to the shallow end of the pool, the deep end is suitable for diving. The pool area is surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens. You will also find by the swimming pool a BBQ house which has a fridge and wash basin within the BBQ house there is a large food preparation area. Sun loungers and outside garden furniture will be found around the pool. The large covered naya area by the villa is superb for eating alfresco. We also have a olive tree over 100yrs old that you can sit under in the shade and relax. Other large trees can be found throughout the grounds.

Coast/Beach
Safe and clean blue flag beaches. Calpe 15 mins. Javea and Moraira 30 mins.

Golf
Golfer’s heaven!! Javea 9 hole 25 mins, La Sella and Oliva Nova 18 hole 30 mins. Altea 9 hole 30 mins. Benidorm 2 x 18 hole. I can pre-book tee times if required (as much notice as possible to book the courses is required to avoid disappointment).

Travel
1 hour to both Alicante and Valencia airports.

Distances
The nearest villages of Jalon and Lliber are 2 mins drive away or a relaxing 15 mins walk. Here you will find banks, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and wonderful tapas bars. Try menu del dia, 3 courses including wine from 8 euros its incredible and very popular for obvious reasons. Jalon also has several wine bodegas and a Rastro / flea market on Saturday mornings which is extremely popular.

Booking notes
Deposit 30% to secure booking, balance due 8 weeks before arrival date along with a £300 refundable breakage deposit. Deposit returned 7-10 days after holiday period. If villa is left in excessively bad condition a cleaning fee may occur. Welcome food and drink hamper
