Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday with arrival after 5pm & departure by 10am. Our agents, Roy and Francis will meet you on arrival, to show you around the villa, demonstrate how everything works & leave you with a welcome basket to ensure your stay starts well.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 on ground floor with double bed, fitted wardrobe and french doors leading out onto the garden. Bedrooms 2 and 3 on 1st floor, with double beds and fitted wardrobes. A cot and pull out child's bed is also available on request. |

| Kitchen: | All new fully fitted kitchen with electric oven/grill and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, espresso coffee machine, hand mixer, toaster, kettle and all usual kitchen crockery, cutlery and utensils. |
| Utility Room: | Washing machine and other laundry equipment, including ironing board, in garage. Garage also contains outdoor and indoor games. |

| Other: | Patio doors lead from the living area onto an open-air veranda which has a dining table seating 6. The veranda catches the early morning sun and is perfect for breakfast or a quiet read. |

Outside
The private landscaped gardens extending round the villa are fully enclosed and gated. Private pool is entered via shallow steps suitable for young children leading to a depth of approx 6ft. Outside shower and underwater lighting. High quality teak furnishings, including table seating 6, parasol, deck chairs available for guest use. Also including a gas barbecue and sun-loungers. Terraced area at the back of the house catches the afternoon/evening sun and is perfect for barbecues and 'sun-downers'.
Coast/Beach
The Costa Brava coastline is one of the most beautiful in Spain. Crystal clear waters, year round, beaches and coves create one of the most stunning areas of Catalonia. There are many picturesque coastal walks. St. Antoni has a large municipal beach and promenade into Palamos - very safe and clean, with children's play areas and quiet bars. Lovely early evening walk. There are a choice of many picturesque and accessible coves all within 30min, eg Lla Franc, Calella, Tamariu and Aqua Blava.
Golf
The Costa Brava has a vast variety of golf course choices, with at least five within 30 minutes from the property - Santa Cristina (Santa Cristina d'Aro), El Mas Nou (Platja d'Aro) approx 15 mins by car, Emporda and Pals approx 30 mins by car. Costa Brava Golf Club at St. Christina 20 mins away and PGA Catalunya Golf course about 40 mins by Car. All courses provide rental services and lessons/coaching on request. Tee off times can be pre-booked by arrangement with the clubs. Proof of handicap often required.
Travel
Nearest airport is Girona Airport (Ryanair) - 30 mins in Summer
Barcelona approx 90 mins (BA and Easyjet). French border 90 mins approx and Calais channel port approx 12 hours drive. Self drive or car hire recommended. Car hire companies can be recommended to collect from airport.
Distances
Calonge or Sant Antoni- 5 mins for butchers, fresh vegetables, patisserie, cash machine, supermarkets, internet cafe, chemist, doctors and a very good street market on Wednesday. Palamos - fishing port with many shops. Lla Franc - 30 mins in Summer.
Further details
Calonge is an old and traditional village with its own castle. There are interesting historical and cultural visits to be made, Barcelona City, Dali Museum, Iberian, Romanic and Greek ruins all within 70 miles. Beautiful Begur, Pals and Peratallada medieval villages approx 30-40 mins by car. Local markets are held daily in different local towns. Cultural visits can be made to Barcelona, the Dali Museum, the Iberian village of Ullastret, romantic villages of Pals and Peretallada as well as the Greek ruins of Ampurias all within 80 minutes drive. Many marked footpaths and cycle paths nearby with bike hire 5 mins away. Most water sports, inc diving, sailing are all close by from Palamos or Platja D'Aro. There are various centres to arrange boat excursions, inc trips along the coast to Tossa Del Mar. Boat excursions from Palamos along the coast. There is a large water park at Platja D'Aro.
Booking notes
A non-refundable 20% deposit is required to secure each booking, with the final balance to be paid 8 weeks before the holiday start-date. A breakage/security deposit of £250 is required, to be paid with the final balance - this deposit will be refunded to you, less any breakage costs, within 14 days of the end-date of the holiday. Payment can made by sterling cheque or internet banking transfer. Min 7 days during high season. Sorry, but no pets or smoking.
