The village of La Xara is within walking distance with shops, bars and restaurants. The bustling town of Denia is about five minutes drive away with its many amenities and there are safe sandy beaches within 10 minutes drive. In a rural position yet within walking distance of La Xara makes the villa an ideal place for a peaceful and tranquil holiday destination. Although semi-detached the orientation of the villa means that it retains its privacy. Within easy reach of all the amenities on offer in Denia and Javea, it is also just a short drive away from the beautiful valleys of Jalon, Orba and Pego with tranquil villages sitting amongst the vineyards, orange and almond groves. Throughout the spring, summer and autumn one be one the villages come alive with fiestas. The golf courses of La Sella and Oliva are both a short drive away.

Outside
A fabulous outside living area in a covered casita with open sides onto the the private pool and gardens. Furnished with a large dining table and chairs, sofas and a small kitchen area with sink and fridge. Built in BBQ. Beautiful private garden with an 8m x 4m private pool surrounded by terraces with ample tables and chairs and sun loungers.
Coast/Beach
There are several kilometers of safe sandy beaches stretching from Denia to Oliva and beyond. The closest beaches are less than five minutes drive away. This section of the Costa Blanca coastline has become a mecca for wind surfers and kite surfers.
Golf
Golf at La Sella (18 holes) is just a few minutes drive away. The technical adviser was Jose Maria Olazabal. Situated next to the 5* Denia Marriott Hotel with gymnasium, spa and therapeutic treatments. The Seve Ballesteros designed course at Oliva Nova (18 holes) is about 15 minutes drive. Also, within easy reach are Javea, Ifach and Don Cayo (9 hole courses). Less than half an hours drive will take you to the new golfing complex adjacent to the Sheridan hotel just outside Benidorm. A drive of approx 1 hour can take you to some superb courses near Valencia including the Championship course at El Saler, rated as one of the best four courses in Europe.
Travel
Situated half way between the international airports of Valencia and Alicante both are about one hours drive away and are a major destination for low cost airlines from most UK airports.
Distances
La Xara is within easy walking distance, Denia is about five minutes drive away and Javea about fifteen minutes drive. The cities of Valencia and Alicante and although very different are both very vibrant and within one hours drive. Situated close to the valleys of Jalon, Orba and Pego. gives the opportunity of exploring the mountainous surrounding area. During the spring, summer and autumn one by one the villages come alive with colourful fiestas.
Further details
La Xara has supermarkets, bars, restaurants, shops and banks, and Denia is only five minutes away and is a busy bustling town with all amenities. A short drive away from the coast and you have the opportunity of exploring the mountainous hinterland. The valleys are dotted with numerous small villages which during the spring, summer and autumn one by one come alive with colourful fiestas. There are many fabulous areas to walk with spectacular views across the valleys and mountains.
For those with children a twenty minute drive will take you to Benidorm with its theme and water parks (Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia and Mundomar.
Valencia is a great city to visit with its museums, City of arts and sciences with Europe's biggest marine park, Oceanographic. The venue for the recent Americas Cup in 2007 and also for the next one, the port area has been transformed. Also designated as a venue for Formula 1 racing from 2008 with the circuit around the spectacular buildings and streets of Valencia.
