The apartment is located in the prestigious 'El Soto De Marbella' complex and is truly luxurious. It is brand new (completed in July of 2007), with new furniture throughout. You will awake to stunning views of Mijas valley, LaCala Golf and the Mediterranean. The kitchen has high end Siemen appliances and all the accessories you will need. Each apartment group has its own pool and sunbathing area. The complex also has tennis courts, a 9 hole executive golf course, a fitness facility and a club house with fine dining. The pool, tennis courts, fitness facility, and golf course are available at no extra charge as you will be our guest under our membership. There are 23 golf courses within 30 mins. Elviria is centrally located, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Sotogrande are all within 30 mins. Granada is 90 mins and the Gibraltar is about 60 mins. High speed trains can take you to Madrid for a few days or to Barcelona if you like. Underground parking is included.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. However, for 2009 We have lowered the summer prices in recognition of the economy. See above. We will consider long-term rental. Monthly rental will be given special pricing of four weeks for the price of three. £150 security deposit is required, which will be returned assuming no damages.

Bathrooms: Bathroom 1 - en-suite bedroom 1, full bath with large jacuzzi bath tub.
Bathroom 2 - full bathroom with walk-in shower.
Both bathroom are marble throughout.
Kitchen: Complete kitchen with high-end Siemen appliances. Stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, complete set of cooking utensils, plates, glasses, and silverware for eight. The kitchen opens to bar seating and view into living area and balcony.
Utility Room: Washer and dryer.
Living Rooms: The living room includes two sofas, one 3 seater and one 2 seater. The living room also includes a HD TV and fireplace. The living room includes floor to ceiling windows overlooking the balcony, valley and Mediterranean.
Other: The dining room has a beautiful table that extends to allow seating for 8 people.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are included. The apartment is cleaned before you arrive and at least once when you leave. However, extra cleaning can be requested at 75 euros per clean.

 

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is ideal for children as well as adults. The shared pool is designed to accommodate children and there is a playground near the club house. For adults, the executive golf course, tennis, fitness, walking or just quietly reading on the balcony are all options.

Accessibility
The apartment is on the ground floor and the front door is wide enough to accommodate wheelchair use. However, the bathrooms are not equipped to accommodate wheelchair use.

Outside
The apartment has a large balcony with a table for six and chairs for sunbathing. There are five shared swimming pools, one for each group of apartments. The pool is large and is suitable for all ages. The gardens around the complex are well maintained and included beautiful and varied plants and flowers. The executive golf course is set in a cork forest and is great for either playing or just going for an evening stroll. There is playground for young children at the club house. The club house serves lunches, dinners, or a relaxing drink any time. There is also a full fitness center at the club house.

Coast/Beach
The beach is 10 mins from the apartment. The beach is the famed Don Carlos beach. The five star Don Carlos beach resort was the first five star hotel in Spain.

Golf
There are 23 championship golf courses within 30 mins. They include the world famous Sotogrande courses (5) where they play the Volvo championship each year. LaCala (3) courses which you can see from the balcony. David Leadbetter has an Academy of Golf at La Cala. There is a very nice course called Santa Maria, within 5 mins.

Travel
Malaga Airport is within about 45 mins. It is a large international airport.

Distances
Elviria is the nearest city. It is less than 10 mins away.
Central Marbella 20 mins.
Puerto Banus 15 mins.
Gibraltar 60 mins.
Granada 90 mins.
Cadiz 90 mins.

Further details
We acquired the apartment in the El Soto de Marbella complex because it is close to everything, yet a few minutes away from the crowds, especially in mid-Summer. Don Carlos beach is only 10 minutes from our apartment and is the nicest beach in Marbella. As you walk on the beach, you will notice the beach side restaurants which are fabulous. The famed Nikki Beach Club is right at the beach area closest to our apartment. Elviria is centrally located, you can use the apartment as the base and be within an hour of Gibraltar or 90 minutes to Granada. Central Marbella, Sotogrande, the Marina at Puerto Banus are all within 30 minutes. There are 23 golf courses within 30 minutes.
