Colinas del Faro is an attractive development, ideal for those seeking a peaceful, scenic holiday,within sight of the sea, close to amenities, yet comfortably apart from busy towns. The complex has its own swimming pool. This is an end apartment with impressive terrace views north and west towards the Sierra de Mijas. There is a fully fitted kitchen, an air conditioning/heating system and satellite TV. Furnishing is unpretentious, but adequate.

Living Rooms: The living room has a good double sofa bed, dining table, satellite TV and DVD player.

Towels and bedlinen are provided and the apartment is cleaned for your arrival. A mid-stay clean can be arranged by liaising with my agents.

Accessibility
There is access to the apartment by lift and ample wheelchair space.

Outside
The apartment has a west facing balcony, from which are glorious views towards the mountains and the hilltop town of Mijas. There are outside table and chairs. The shared swimming pool is on the south side of the building.

Coast/Beach
The beach at El Faro is approximately 10 minutes on foot and here there is a very good beachside restaurant. The next beach at La Cala de Mijas is attractive and well worth the few minutes drive.

Golf
There are many golf courses, all within easy reach.

Travel
Malaga airport is approximately 20 minutes drive (30km).
Car hire is recommended and I have found the cheapest to be through carjet.co.uk, to be prebooked and collected from Malaga Airport. From the main N340 there are buses to nearby Fuengirola and Marbella and there is a frequent train service between Malaga and Fuengirola. My agents, Eline and Roberto, offer a meet and greet service from Malaga Airport or Fuengirola, and would be happy to be called prior to your holiday in order to arrange.

Distances
From the site office, about 2 minutes walk from the apartment, excursions can be booked to a variety of destinations including Granada, Seville, Ronda and Gibraltar, with arrangements for your point of collection. The mountains overlooking the coast are easliy reached by car and here the scenery is stunning and the white villages are picturesque and well worth visiting.

Further details
Within easy walking distance of the apartment are bars, restaurants, a municipal pool and small supermarkets.
My agents offer a meet and greet service from Malaga Airport and the possibility of putting a few food items etc in the apartment for your arrival. Both of these are by prior arrangement.

Booking notes
Deposit and Insurance: A 25% deposit secures the booking and is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation, so appropriate insurance cover is recommended.The balance is payable not less than a month before your holiday. On arrival a separate cheque for £100 is payable in order to cover loss in the unfortunate event of damage or breakages, but will otherwise be returned to you on departure.
