This comfortable and spacious house is in the style of a typical Catalan masia. It has four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a large, split-level living room with fireplace for cozy evenings. The dining room looks out onto the pool and the mountains beyond. The villa is located in the residential area of Les Tres Cales and is just 700 meters or a ten-minute walk from the sea where the small beaches and tiny coves make this stretch of coast one of the most beautiful (and least developed) in Spain.

Prices are for the property per week in euros.
25% of the total is paid upon signing the contract. That amount is not refundable.
A refundable security deposit of 500 euros is required upon arrival.
All payments to be made in bank transfer or cash.

The rental week begins Saturday, 4pm, and ends Saturday at 10am.

Notes on accommodation
There are portable heaters for winter stays. The fireplace is a wood-burning stove that gives good heat and a warm ambience for winter holidays.
Outside
Villa Rosa is a good-sized property of about 800 square meters and the house is well set back from the street. The garden has Mediterranean plants, lawns front and back, and is partly shaded by pines. There are two areas for outdoor dining -- one is a natural stone terrace by the pool where there is also a built-in masonry barbecue, the second is the large shaded porch. Upstairs there is also a solarium for taking the winter sun. The private pool is 4m x 8m.
Coast/Beach
Cala Forn, a small sandy cove and the closest beach, is 700 meters away (a ten-minute walk). There are several other small coves nearby, some of them also sandy, and others rocky. The next beach up is the Platja de Sant Jordi (Saint George beach) where ruins of the castle of Sant Jordi sit as a reminder of the times when pirates sailed along the coast. Now the coast is good for swimming, diving (snorkeling), and fishing. There are also boat charters and cruises available at the village.
Golf
There are four golf courses and four pitch and putts within Tarragona Province. The closest and most highly regarded is the Bonmont PGA golf course, about 20 minutes away. Bonmont, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. has spectacular views of the Mediterranean and the nearby mountains and is said to be wonderful to play. Lessons and club rentals are available. La Figuerola Resort pitch & putt is near Bonmont, only five minutes further away. Rentals are also available there.
Travel
Reus airport is about 30 minutes away. Barcelona airport is about an hour and a half away. The train station in L'Ametlla de Mar is four kilometers away. Trains to Barcelona, Tarragona, Salou, Cambrils, Tortosa, and other destinations, stop there. Use of a car is recommended to arrive at and while staying at the villa.
Distances
The closest commercial center with a full-service supermarket, a bakery, two cafe/bars, and a restaurant is one kilometer from the house. The popular Restaurant Esmeralda is within walking distance as are beaches, a mini golf, and tennis courts. The small fishing village of L'Ametlla is four kilometers away. There you can find other good restaurants, cafes, bakeries, shops of all sorts, boats for rental or for guided visits along the coast, and fisherman wives selling fish along the quay.
Further details
Three adult-sized mountain bikes are provided. The GR 92, a hiking trail that stretches from Italy to the south of Spain passes along the coast. Just walking a short stretch allows you to enjoy spectacular coastal scenery blended with the Mediterranean aromas of rosemary, thyme, and pine. Birding is a year-round possibility in the Ebre (Ebro) Delta, about half an hour to the south where you can view hundreds of species, including the magnificent flamingoes. All manner of sea and river sports (fishing, boating, kayaking, snorkeling) are available and only minutes away.
Within 45 minutes of the villa you can visit Tarragon with its magnificent Roman relics, among them an amphitheater and spectacular aqueduct; Miravet, a village that sits above a bend in the Ebre River capped by a castle that was once a Templar stronghold; Cambrils with its beautiful seaside promenade and fabulous seafood restaurants; or Salou where the Port Aventura theme park will entertain kids young and old.
Booking notes
At the signing of the contract, a non-refundable 25% of the price is due. The remaining is paid in cash upon arrival. An additional 500-euro (or equivalent in British Pounds) security deposit is also paid upon arrival and returned when the tenant vacates the property in good condition.
