The apartment is spacious, well equipped, furnished to a high standard and just 10 minutes walk from the beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor. It is situated in a small complex of 74 similar low rise apartments and nestled in a peaceful Spanish residential area. A large balcony overlooks the 25m swimming pool and provides side mountain views. The Mar Menor is the largest salt water lagoon in Europe and its crystal clear waters, few waves and gentle slopes make it the ideal destination for families and water sports enthusiasts alike. There are several beach and tapas bars on the promenade which runs the whole length of the beach into the main town of Los Alcazares. There are several golf courses within 30 mins drive, the world famous La Manga, being 25 minutes drive. The Roman city of Cartagena is 20 minutes drive and the city of Murcia, 30 minutes drive.

Changeover day
We are very flexible and have no fixed day of changeover. Also, we can be flexible on when you vacate the accommodation, depending on your flight time and whether there are guests arriving on the same day.

| Other: | The large balcony has table and chairs to seat 6. There are also two sun loungers and four deckchair/canvas chairs which can be used around the pool or on the beach. |

Notes on accommodation
This complex is very family friendly as the pool area is gated and requires a key for access.
Accessibility
Although the apartment is on the first floor, it is wheelchair friendly as there are ramps provided and a lift to all floors.
Outside
The fabulous 25m pool is set within a large open central courtyard which is gated and requires access by a key, thereby making it safe for small children. It also has a separate children's section. The balcony, which overlooks the pool also benefits from side mountain views.
Coast/Beach
The beaches of the Mar Menor (meaning smaller sea) boasts 7km of tree lined pedestrianised promenade, with many beach and tapas bars along the way. It is a 10-15 min walk but well worth a visit as the warm waters await you.
Golf
The apartment has plenty of golf courses within easy reach. Las Ramblas, Villamartin, Campoamor are only a 15-20 min drive, the world famous La Manga 25 mins drive, and there are also two new 18 hole golf courses 5 mins drive away at Roda.
Travel
The nearest airport is Murcia (San Javier) and is a 2 min drive. Although the apartment is very close to the airport, it is a small airport and only about 8-10 flights come in per day and never through the night. Alternatively, Alicante is a 50 min drive. Transport can be arranged for you at an additional cost if you so wish, but taxis are easily found outside the airport.
Distances
The old town of Los Alcazares is a 20 min walk where you will find many restaurants and tapas bars. You will find several more restaurants nearer than this but it is worth a visit. There is a market just 2 mins walk from the apartment which is held every Saturday and well worth a visit. Visit the ancient Roman city of Cartagena which is a 20 min drive and sit in a bar by the harbour or climb up the hill to the fortress there. The historic city of Murcia is just 30 mins by car.

There is a large supermarket and shopping complex just 2 mins walk from the apartment.
Booking notes
A £75 deposit is required per week of rental. The balance is due 6 weeks prior to your holiday and a refundable deposit of £100 is required for breakages/damages or loss of keys.
