Situated on the prestigious La Sella complex, Villa Aprilis is close to the well regarded La Sella golf course and Marriott Spa Hotel. La Sella is a mountainside resort with its own restaurants, bar, supermarket and chemist. There are horse riding stables and tennis courts for those who like to keep busy.

Changeover day
Weekly bookings are normally Saturday to Saturday, however flexibility is sometimes possible. We ask you to arrive after 4 pm on your arrival day and depart by 10 am on your departure day in order that we may prepare for our next guests.

Notes on accommodation
Villa Aprilis has full central heating by radiators to all rooms and air conditioning. An electric gate and totally fenced garden would give security for young children but there are a number of steps from the driveway to the villa. All the accommodation (apart from the main bedroom and en-suite) is on the ground floor.

Accessibility
This property would not be suitable for wheelchair use as there are a number of steps from the driveway to the villa.
Outside
Landscaped gardens surround Villa Aprilis (a gardener visits every week to ensure the garden is maintained to a high standard). Beautiful lawned areas surround the private 10x5m swimming pool which has roman steps and lights. There is a large stone dining table with stone benches placed under the naya for alfresco dining and a purpose built outside kitchen and barbecue. A large sunbathing area is located next to the pool with 6 sunbeds and to the rear of the property a large balcony which is in shade on hot afternoons and evenings. Double electric gates and a personnel gate open onto a large driveway with parking for four cars.
Coast/Beach
The award-winning beaches of Denia are a 10 min drive from the villa. Here you will find miles of golden sand, rocky coves and marinas where numerous water-sports can be enjoyed: all-year sailing; wind-surfing; jet and water skiing; scuba-diving centre (courses available), coarse fishing and leisure boat trips down the coast. You can visit Ibiza on one of the fast ferries from Denia port.
Golf
The closest golf course is situated within the La Sella resort itself, set in the grounds of the 5 star Marriot Spa Hotel it offers a Jose Maria Olazabal designed 18 hole championship course, par 72, and 6072m in length. There is a driving range and pro shop next to the clubhouse, buggies are available and tee off times can be booked on 0034 966454252 (A club certificate is required to play). Situated next to Montgo Natural Park, La Sella Golf Club offers a balanced course, suitable for all levels of play.The relaxed atmosphere and Mediterranean climate allows golfing enthusiasts to enjoy the facilities all year round. In addition to this excellent course there are two other high quality courses close to Denia - Don Cayo (Altea) 18 hole Par 73 and Oliva Nova (Oliva) designed by Steve Ballesteros,18 hole par 72. If you wish to travel a little further El Bosque near Valancia is a par 72 and 6249m in length (designed by Robert Trent Jones) and rated in the top 5 courses in Europe.
Skiing
The ski resorts of Valdelinares and Javalambre in the province of Teruel, located 150km. north-west of Valencia are a 2 hour drive away, where you will find a variety of slopes together with two beginners slopes.
Travel
Villa Aprilis is within easy reach of the A7 motorway. Both Alicante and Valencia airports are approx. 1 hour’s drive away. We will send you detailed directions from either airport before you travel.

Denia 6km Castle, archelogical museum, harbour, ferry, good selection of shops. Javea 8km picturesque old town, port, Arenal beach. Gandia 25km Train link to Valencia. Benidorm 40km Touristic city with nightlife. Terra Mitica Theme Park, Aqualandia Water Park and Mundimar Marine Park. Valencia 90km Museum Arts and Sciences; Oceanographic Centre; a 'must-visit' city with beautiful architecture. Jalon Valley 15km call into the local bodegas and sample the Jalon Vino Tinto or visit the honey shop.
Further details
There is a nearby supermarket on the La Sella complex selling fresh bread/croissants/milk etc. daily. Larger supermarkets as well as banks etc can be found in nearby Pedreguer. At the La Sella Tennis Centre there are 6 clay and 2 artificial grass tennis courts, an outdoor pool, gym and restaurant. Next to the Tennis Centre is an Equestrian Centre with horse-riding lessons for mixed abilities (courses available). Here you will also find a very good restaurant/bar serving midday and evening meals. La Sella Golf Club has its own popular restaurant with views from its terraces over the greens. There are also several excellent restaurants/bistros at the 5* Marriot Hotel next to the golf course. A short drive away, on the scenic road to Javea, you will find many more good eating places. The pretty harbour town of Denia is only 6 km away. It is a friendly and lively Spanish town full of atmosphere with tree-lined streets, pavement cafes, tapas bars, restaurants, superb shopping and twice weekly markets. There is a 17th century castle which sits on a hill overlooking the town. The Harbour Front in Denia boasts several good fish restaurants and bars with live music and is an attractive and popular place for an evening stroll.
