The Rias Baixas offers a privileged environment for the practice of the nautical sports, especially sailing. The Real Club Nautico de Vigo is within 10 minutes walk, where you can also take a boat to Cangas and the Cies Archipielago which, in 2007, the British newspaper 'The Guardian' choose Nr. 1 of the top 10 beaches of the world. Within 15 minutes drive, a great variety of beaches can be reached like Samil, O Vao at just 3km away.

Within 10 minutes walking you can visit the Mercado de la Piedra and eat the well-known Galician shellfish where oysters are the specialty!

Distances
The apartment is in the centre of the city with easy access to the market, supermarkets, restaurants, cinemas, museums and the main shopping area around Príncipe Street. From this point you have the chance to visit the city on foot.
Further details
Car hire is not essential to fully enjoy the city and the surrounding towns as there is a really good connection by bus, train and boat. Most bus lines stop at Puerta del Sol next to the tourist office within 5 minutes walking, including the one that goes directly to the airport. By train you can easily reach Pontevedra, La Coruña or Santiago de Compostela and spend the day. If you prefer going south, hire a car to drive to the impressive castro of Santa Tecla and then go up the gorgeous River Miño or jump to the other side to visit our neighbour Portugal.

A 25% deposit will be required if the booking is more than 8 weeks before the departure date. If a deposit is paid and you decide to cancel, the deposit is non refundable. If the travel date is less than 8 weeks before, the full payment is needed.
