This large and luxurious apartment is located right in the centre of Barcelona in the El Born area. A mere 5-minute stroll to the most famous streets and sights of this fascinating city, with Gaudi and Picasso just around the corner and the beach at Barceloneta only 10 minutes away on foot, you couldn't be better located. The famous Ramblas and the Cathedral can be spotted from the roof-terrace and with the metro just up the road accessing Sagrada Familia is very 'facile'. Should you wish to do some retail therapy all the shops are situated very close by and a whole day can be spent picking from Prada to Promod. Restaurants and bars are literally across the square and should you wish to get out of town, Plaza Catalunya is 5 minutes away where you can take a train to the beautiful Costa Brava for day trips.

Changeover day
If guest are departing your day of arrival check in time is at 4pm it is always possible to drop off luggage at 11am and return by 4pm (sometimes earlier). Check out time is 11am but we can store luggage for a flat fee of 25 euros.

Bedroom 2 - single bedroom - 1 bed, huge built in wardrobes.
Bedroom 3 - 1 large double bed that can be split into 2 singles and balcony.
Sofa bed in lounge sleeps the 6th person.
Bathrooms: Bathroom 1 - toilet, bath with shower, shower enclosure. A truly beautiful and relaxing room with very high finishes. Standing room balcony surrounds.
Bathroom 2 - toilet, shower enclosure, en-suite bathroom leading from the master bedroom.
Kitchen: Electric oven / grill, 4 ring stove, hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, coffee machine.
Utility Room: Washing machine and cleaning equipment housed in separate utility room.
Living Rooms: Beautiful large lounge with double leather sofa bed to sleep the 6th person. UK satellite TV, (including BBC, ITV, C4 and music channels), DVD player and a selection of movies on offer. Standing room balcony surrounds.
Other: Dining area with glass table and comfy seating for 6 people adjacent to the kitchen.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are included in the price. There will also be a small check in fee of 50 euros. This is for the cleaning, fresh towels and linen, keys, a Q and A session about the apartment and local area.

The apartment sleeps 6 and the price varies according to how many guests. It is on the third floor and is suitable for children with an air conditioning unit and fans for the summer and central heating for the winter.

Outside
There is a roof terrace with views of the city's cathedral. Guests are provided with a key on request for occasional use. However please note that the key has to be requested in advance and not on arrival.

Coast/Beach
Even though this wonderful apartment is in the city centre the beach is accessible on foot within 15 minutes, or 5 minutes via metro which is a mere 2 minutes walk away. Combining a city break with sun bathing at the beach is one of the main reasons to visit Barcelona.

Travel
Barcelona El Prat airport is 16km away and will cost guests c.30 euros to the apartment. Driving is not recommended as guests will have to pay for parking in the near by NCP and it isn't cheap.

Distances
The famous Las Ramblas and Barceloneta Beach are both a pleasant 10 minute walk away. However unfolding languidly just to the east of C./ Banys Vell is Parc Ciutadella. The grandest entrance to the park is the Arc de Triomf and passing through the grand gates and into this green, tranquil oasis provides a welcome respite from the city centre with Guadi influences being spotted all around. If Picasso is more your thing, you are a mere 2 minutes away from the museum.

Further details
The meeter and greeter is English, she has lived in Barcelona for a number of years and is fluent in Spanish and English. She can provide in-valuable local knowledge of shops, restaurants, bars, day-trips and she will show you around the apartment and ensure that you are settled and answer any questions.

Booking notes
70% is due at time of booking to a Spanish bank accout or via credit card using paypal. International bank transfers and Paypal will incur a 3.4% charge, payable by the guest.
The remaining 30% is due on arrival in cash in euros.

Check in is 4pm but guests can leave luggage at 11am. Check out is 11am a luggage storage facility is available at 25 euros per day.

Airport pick up service available at 30 euros one way. Maximum 4 persons.

This really is living! Right in the heart of El Born, this beautiful 3 bedroom apartment is breath-taking. Furnished and finished to a high standard and with stunning views from the roof-terrace, where we bbq'ed with a back-drop of the cathedral.
Reserving and booking was easy and straightforward and we were met by George on time and given a comprehensive guide to the local area and to the apartment. He could not have been more helpful and even came out late at night when I foolishly locked myself out!
We highly recommend staying here, it has everything you need and the best postcode in town. Also very well priced for the size, space and location.
