La Casita is located on Phase 1 and only 2 minutes from the entrance to new De Vere 5 star Roda Golf and Beach Resort at Los Alcazares. It is furnished and equipped to a very high standard, including central heating for winter and cooler Spring days plus air-conditioning to keep you comfortable during the hotter periods. It has a large outdoor terrace overlooking the gardens with direct access to the communal pool. Each twin bedded bedroom has large double wardrobes with plenty of hanging and storage space as well as shutters to either let in or block out the sunshine (during your afternoon siesta). A TV and DVD are provided as well as comfortable sitting room seating and outside dining on the large terrace overlooking the pool. There is also a selection of DVDs and CDs for your enjoyment whilst you are staying at La Casita. The kitchen is superbly equipped with all that you would expect for your comfort.

Notes on accommodation
The property is situated at the end of a small low rise building and is light and airy. It has direct access from its large terrace to the communal pool and although we welcome children, we must stress that there will be no lifeguard on duty. The property boasts full central heating for the cooler winter days so is ideal for a winter or spring break. It also has full air-conditioning to ensure your comfort during breaks taken in the hotter months of the year. The resort is gated, and manned 24 hours, and secure and has 24 hour video surveillance with regular security patrols.

Accessibility
La Casita is a ground floor apartment and although is not specially equipped or adapted for disabled guests, it has perfect wheelchair access either from the front entrance or via the lift from the underground carpark. There is also plenty of surface parking for ease of access to the property.
Outside
La Casita has a large outside terrace furnished for alfresco dining as well as sunbeds for lazy afternoons! The lush gardens and pool at Roda Golf and Beach Resort are communal facilities, but there is also access to other communal pools on the resort. The resort has pleasant walking and cycling routes and there are full details at La Casita of all the local activities that are available for you to enjoy. The Beach Resort exclusively for the use of residents and guests of Roda Golf is located on the tip of the La Manga spit and can be accessed by ferry from Santiago de la Ribera. Bookings for use of the beach club should be made locally at customer services at the resort. There is a huge choice of wonderful local beaches to ensure you have a fantastic holiday topping up your tan!
Coast/Beach
Roda Golf and Beach Resort at Los Alcazares is perched on the shores of the largest European saltwater lagoon the Mar Menor and this is only a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute walk from La Casita. There are numerous blue flag sandy beaches within twenty minutes or so from resort either on the Mar Menor or on the Mediterranean side of the La Manga spit. The area is also well known for its health spas and Thalassotherapy centres and more information can be found at La Casita.
Golf
The Roda Golf course is located some 5 minutes walk from the apartment within the resort and is run by the De Vere Group. It has recently been selected to act as the base for the PGA European Training Academy and is considered an excellent and challenging course. The new Casa Club house is now open and offers good food and music as well as a great open air bar. Roda Golf and Beach Resort is also an ideal location as a base for enjoying courses in the many other great courses in thearea during your holiday in Murcia. Please note that as a bonus, guests of La Casita benefit from a 20% discount on green fees and buggy hire at Roda Golf and Beach Resort plus 10% discount in the Club Restaurant.

Travel
Roda Golf and Beach resort is conveniently located only 10 minutes from Murcia (San Javier) Airport and only 45 minutes by motorway from Alicante Airport. Both Airports are served by most of the European low cost airlines. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
There are numerous busy little Spanish towns on the shores of the Mar Menor which are easily accessible which provide pleasant walking on the 8 kilometres or so of promenade which skirts the shores of Mar Menor. The busy port of Cartagena is only 15 minutes by road. Medieval Murcia is only 40 minutes by car and if you wish to venture further afield, then Granada in all its splendor is some 2.5 hours away.
Further details
There are many local supermarkets and shops within a 5 minute drive. Plus a 40 minute drive to the city of Murcia will provide you with a huge selection of shops at the Nueve Condominio shopping centre. There are also shops and restaurants in San Javier, San Pedro, Santiago de la Ribera or Cartagena.
Of course there also many local street markets in all of the towns and villages along the Mar Menor including the Sunday market at Cabo de Palos at La Manga. Full details of all local markets and activities are available at La Casita.
We are pleased to offer meet and greet facilities at the resort to introduce you to La Casita and we can also advise on car hire and transfers from the airports to La Casita. We can also provide welcome packs on request - we can offer a selection of items so that you don't have to worry about shopping as soon as you arrive at your holiday apartment. Booking notes
We ask for a deposit 25% of the total cost to confirm your booking and the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to your holiday. We also require a security deposit of £100 which will be returned to you after your holiday subject to normal inspection.
There is an additional laundry and cleaning charge of 65 euros which is payable locally on arrival to our property managers. We welcome enquiries either by phone or email and are pleased to offer loyalty discounts for repeat bookings or referrals.
