The area both within the property and around it allow for extremely comfortable living and a thoroughly relaxing, care free holiday is guaranteed. All rooms are very spacious and well furnished, allowing all guests to enjoy complete privacy. The south facing views are excellent, providing wonderful far ranging countryside and mountain views, plus all day sunshine. The highlight of the property must be the fantastic heated swimming pool which is a delight for children and adults alike. Set beside a river, the area is a haven for a variety of birdlife and the sound of goat bells can regularly be heard as local farmers herd their large herds of goats alongside the river. Pleasant walks and cycling are available, literally on your doorstep during the warm summer evenings.

Living Rooms: Large living room 1 is as huge room with fireplace, large dining table, 3 piece suite and equipped with widescreen satellite TV, DVD player and music system.
Other: Living room 2 is a large room equipped with satellite TV, DVD, 2 piece suite, plus a good selection of children's toys and games.

Linen is provided. Large beach/pool towels are provided.
Hand towels are provided. Linen is changed weekly on hand over day and cleaned throughout.

 

Notes on accommodation
The property is extremely spacious and perfectly suited to children due to its high level of safety and security. The house is secluded, yet not isolated and there are no nearby neighbours or main roads close to the house, allowing for games to be played out of doors in safety. Room fans and air coolers are provided if required, plus ample shade from the sun is available outside to relax and eat meals under.

Accessibility
Entrance to the property is via large doors which makes disabled access very easy. The area surrounding the house is flat with large areas of hard standing, suitable for wheelchair users. The swimming pool has low, easy access steps, plus a shallow area for younger children in which to cool off and play in.

Outside
The area surrounding the pool is completed fenced off, as is the perimeter of the property itself, giving parent’s peace of mind and more time to relax. The stunning 12x5m pool is heated, so enjoyable swimming is guaranteed. It incorporates a shallow, segregated end which provides a safe paddling area for young children. The pool is completely private and not overlooked by any nearby properties. There are plenty of shaded areas available and ample patio furniture is situated under purpose built shaded areas, so that time can be spent relaxing and eating out of doors in comfort. A large BBQ is also provided, plus sun loungers for relaxing in the sunshine. Large beach/pool towels are provided for guests, which also allows more baggage room for outward and return flights. A badminton net and racquets are available, plus a football net and balls set in a large area, which is perfect for outdoor games. Outside there is also a large children’s' play centre complete with slide and swings.

Coast/Beach
Day trips to the coast are made easy via excellent main road connections. Motril and Salobrena can be reached in around 60 mins and Almunecar and La Herradura in approx 60 mins. Long, sandy beaches await and fresh fish dishes can be eaten in the many Chiringitos, or beach restaurants along this coast. Water sports are readily available.

Golf
There are 78 Golf courses in Andalucia alone, with more planned. Antequera Golf is situated approximately 30 mins drive from the property. Facts; 18 Hole, Par 72, Green fees around 42 euros, plus a 9 hole course available. A package including breakfast, buggy, plus a day menu can be obtained for about 60 euros. Granada Golf is situated approx 40 min drive away. Facts; 18 hole, Par 74, plus a 9 hole course. Green fees around 50 euros. Los Moriscos Golf, Motril has a 9 hole course next to the beach with green fees around 25 euros.

Skiing
Sierra Nevada Ski resort is situated 45 mins drive away and ski conditions can be checked upon arrival. Weekend trips are best avoided to avoid lengthy waits at chair lifts etc.

Travel
Granada airport 30km (20 min drive). Malaga airport 90km (approx 60 min drive). Car hire is necessary in order to explore this beautiful region.

Distances
Granada city, Alhambra Palace, nightlife, excellent Shopping, sightseeing, etc 15 min drive. Loja for Shopping, Churches, restaurants etc 15 min drive. Riofrio for trout farms, excellent fish Restaurants 15 mins. drive. Montefrio for Restaurants, mountain views, Churches 15 mins drive. Cordoba for historic architecture, sightseeing etc 1½ hour drive. Seville for architecture, shopping, sightseeing etc 2 hours drive. Coastal resorts a pleasant and easy day trip- 60 min drive.

There are numerous Bars, Banks, Restaurants, Supermarkets, internet cafes and Pharmacies available locally within a 10 min drive of the property. There are numerous mountain lakes within a short drive of the property, which are extremely beautiful to visit and to swim in. The views from the property are exceptional and olives trees, asparagus, wheat and maize grows in abundance.
