Accessibility
Please note, this property is not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. Although all on one level, with a bungalow type layout inside, there are a series of steps to walk down to it, as it is cut into the hillside. Approx 25 steps in total.
Outside
Stunningly, beautiful terrace! The views are exquisite! Nothing nicer than buying your fish from the local fisherman at the harbour, bringing them home and cooking them on the BBQ with a glass of your home made Sangria! Basking in the evening sunshine!! What more could you want! All equipment provided, BBQ utensils, large teak table and chairs, parasol and there is an awning, if it gets that wee bit too hot!
Coast/Beach
Distance to Peniscola beach, 1000m. Jet skis, boat trips, pedaloes, football and volleyball. Peniscola offers beautiful, safe, sandy beaches with many tasteful bars and restaurants. Miles of quiet coves amongst the rocky shores of the Sierra d'Irta National Park. Tranquil Alcossebre, nestling among orange and almond groves provides vast stretches of blue flag beaches 20-30 mins by car.
Golf
Beautiful panoramic golf course approx 20 mins drive.
Travel
Low cost airlines fly to either Barcelona, Reus and Valencia from most UK regional airports. Car rental companies available at all airports. Barcelona 135 miles, Reus 78 miles and Valencia 90 miles.
Distances
Peniscola Castle 1500m. The old city is home to XIV century castle stronghold. The residence of Pope Benedicto X111 and location for the filming of El Cid. The castle is now home to restaurants, bars and many interesting shops. Sierra d'Irta National Conservation area 5-10 minutes by car, ideal for walkers and mountain bikers. D'Ebre Adventure sports, canoeing, fishing and bird watching 1 hou’rs drive.
Further details
The working harbour provides interest and much of the catch is used in the local restaurants. Peñíscola has many interesting shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. Evenings can be spent walking along the promenade taking in the local sights and sounds and visiting the interesting stalls amongst the quaint cobbled streets that lie around the foot of the castle. If you are that way inclined The Sierra D'Irta National Park also has several 'naturist ' beaches, for those who are after the all over tan!
Booking notes
Deposit of £100 secures a booking with the balance payable 6 weeks before start date of holiday. Please contact owner to negotiate long term rental. There is an additional charge 0f 65 - 100 Euros (dependant on nos of people in party) payable direct to sevice manager at the end of your stay. This pays directly for the local cleaning charge.

Shame we had several days of rain, however plenty to do. Castellon well worth a visit, lovely town. No mad Brits around which was the best thing for us, had to really practise ones Spanish! Quiet, peaceful and very relaxing, will come back again, would love to see Peniscola in the summer. Easter 07 - Mark & Sue Taylor
