This fabulously furnished apartment consists of 3 double bedrooms. The first large bedroom has retained the original architectural decorative arch and the original French windows with shutters onto a small balcony that overlooks the street. The second bedroom has beautiful and spacious fitted wardrobes, french windows and en suite bathroom. Both bedrooms have twin beds, which can be pushed together or separated for your comfort and the smaller third bedroom has a double bed. There is a large modern bathroom with a luxurious bath, a power and rain-shower and slate floor tiles. The spacious lounge with it's original wooden beams houses a state of the art flat screen UK SAT TV (bbc, ITV, C4, C5) and WI-FI. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of storage space, a large stylish SMEG fridge and a wooden dining table for six. There is also a roof terrace for occasional bbq´s, with a beautiful backdrop of the city´s cathedral. The key for the roof terrace is supplied upon request.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment sleeps 6 and the price varies according to how many guests. It is on the first floor and is suitable for children with air conditioning for the summer and central heating for the winter throughout.
Outside
There is a roof terrace with view of the city's cathedral. Guests are provided with a key on request for occasional BBQs.
Coast/Beach
Even though this wonderful apartment is in the city centre the beach at Barceloneta is accessible on foot within 15 minutes, or 5 minutes via metro which is a mere 2 minutes walk away. Combining a city break with a beach holiday is one of the main reasons to visit Barcelona.
Travel
Barcelona El Prat is 16km away and will cost guests c.30 euros to the apartment. Driving is not recommended as guests will have to pay for parking at a near by car park and it isn't cheap.
Distances
The apartment is served by the metro stop Jaume I and the famous Las Ramblas and Barceloneta Beach are both a pleasant 10 minute walk away. However unfolding languidly just to the east of C./ Banys Vells is Parc Ciutadella. The grandest entrance to the park is the Arc de Triomf, designed for the 1888 Exhibition. Passing through the grand gates and into this green, tranquil oasis provides a welcome respite from the city centre.
Further details
The meeter and greeter is English, she has lived in Barcelona for a number of years and is fluent in Spanish and English. She can provide in-valuable local knowledge of shops, restaurants, bars, day-trips and she will show you around the apartment and ensure that you are settled and answer any questions.
There will be a small check in fee depending on arrival times; this will be emailed to guests once arrival times are known.
Booking notes
The apartment can only be booked for a minimum of 3 nights.
The apartment costs £100 per night based on 1-2 sharing.
For 3-4 persons it costs £120 per night.
For 5-6 persons it will cost £140 per night.
70% is due at time of booking by bank transfer or by cheque (UK guests). The remaining 30% is due on arrival in cash in euros. Finally a security deposit of 200 euros is required in cash. This will be returned in full on check out should there be no damages.

This is the most beautiful apartment we have ever stayed at. Right in the city centre with everything we needed on our doorstep. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished and really well looked after. Our meeter and greeter George was fantastic and showed us around and answered all our questions. He also showed us up to the roof terrace where we sipped cocktails as the sun went down. Truly a wonderful place to be, spacious and light with a feeling of luxury. We can't thank you enough! We loved it and the price was great too!
