This is an area perfect for those seeking tranquillity and peace within a beautiful and convenient part of Spain which has yet to be exploited. The quiet area extends along the newly improved Albaida road, with ancient villages and towns set in rural countryside. The gently rolling Albaida plain is surrounded by hills which provide a wonderful drama to the landscape. The villa overlooks orange, lemon and almond groves, which together with the fabulous sunsets help create it an unforgettable holiday.

Notes on accommodation
Optional extras include maid service and food shopping service. Villa Las Palmeras is a luxury retreat ideal for large families and friends with or without children. All rooms have their own independent air conditioning and heating as well as a log burner for any colder days. It has outside living in mind with BBQ, large terrace, outside shower, great views, and total privacy. The child friendly terrace has new non slip tiles, so imprtant around the pool area. A new road means quick access to the beaches and nearby villages, with local supermarkets, bakeries fishmongers and butchers. One village nearby has a winery which sells excellent red and white wines for about £1 a bottle...

Accessibility
As the property is all on one level it is ideal for people who have mobility problems, smooth terraces and tiled areas make it accessible to wheelchair users.
Outside
Outside the lounge is the Naya, which is ideal for sitting, eating and relaxing anytime of day or night. It has seating for 10 or more at the dining table and comfortable seating area. Fully equipped, independent BBQ, enabling outside eating with stunning views. Outside, tiled shower for return from beach or to rinse off from the pool. Large balustraded terrace with seating areas surround the large private swimming pool (12x3m). Beautiful gardens with 6 large Palm trees to line the drive, behind private gates with parking for 3 or more cars.
Coast/Beach
The extraordinary soft white sand beaches at Gandia playa are cleaned every morning; there are regular cafes and toilets along the beach, with games and childrens areas. It is more than 3km long, so rarely overcrowded. Many other beaches are easily accessible along the coast.
Golf
There is a golf course at Oliva (about 30 mins away) designed by Seve Ballasteros.
Travel
Alicante airport 70 mins drive, Valencia airport 60 mins drive, both linked by fast motorway (A7). Car hire is essential, although with the new metro into Valencia from the airport it is easy to catch a train to Gandia (runs every 30 mins) where we can either arrange for your collection or you can grab a taxi to the villa.
Distances
The Safor Mountains behind Gandia boast small rustic villages such as Terrateig, Castello de Rugat, Benecolet and Marquqera which are well loved by walkers and cyclists. Fishing and horse-riding are also available locally. Terra Mitica Theme Park ,with large rides, a water park and bird park, all lie behind the large resort of Benidorm, approx 60 mins from the villa

Our villa is perfect for those on holiday wishing to explore the beautiful Costa Del Azahar or just relax by the pool and enjoy the wonderful views. 20 mins to Gandia town with plenty of shops and eateries. A tree lined walkway (paseo) runs through the centre of Gandia's main street, with cafes for refreshments and a rest in the leafy shade, as well as plenty of clothes, leather goods, jewellery shops. For the sporty there is a large marina, the yacht club and the large beach offer all types of aquatic pursuits. Apart from its unspoilt golden sands and crystal clear waters, the Valencia province is famous for its fiestas, and celebrates elaborate street parades to the full in most towns and villages, all of which in a firework display, and can be experienced throughout the summer months.

Welcome food pack included. Non-returnable deposit of £300.00 paid into UK bank account – Due on confirmation of booking dates. Please note there is a customary £300 ‘damage deposit’ to be paid by cheque 8 weeks prior to your stay. Subject to no damage occurrence the deposit is returned to you within 2 weeks following your departure. Balance due together with damage deposit 8 weeks prior to arrival date (to be paid into UK bank account).
