Coast/Beach
Riviera Beach - 5 minute walk. Natural unspoilt local beach. Cabopino - 3-5 mins drive. Cabopino and Cabopino beach are situated on the coast, halfway between Fuengirola and Marbella. Miles of beautiful sandy beaches with water sports, fishing and boat trips. The sandy beach and dunes can be reached via the road at the side of the apartment block. There is also a pleasant harbour and renowned restaurants. Cabopino is one of the Costa del Sol's best kept secret.
Golf
There are numerous golf courses on the Costa del Sol but the Miraflores Golf Club is right in the heart of Riviera del Sol. The nearby area of Calahonda, Mijas and Cabopino boast many golf courses.
Travel
Travel from Malaga airport takes approx 20-30 minutes depending upon traffic at airport. Although a car is not necessary to enjoy the villa and surrounding area it is very useful and is recommended.
Distances
Marbella - 10 min drive. One of the most delightful promenades on the coast, its classy restaurants and bars overlooking the beach front. A visit to Orange Square in the old part of Marbella is recommended. Fuengirola - 10 min drive. A busy resort, with 8km of beaches. The town comes alive at night with many bars and clubs. Peurto Banus - 20 min drive. With it’s yachts, famous fashion shops, Casino, shopping centre, top beaches and famous nightlife.
Further details
There are several small stores, restaurants, bars etc within easy walking distance of the villa. The Aztec Centre is a 5 minute walk from villa and is in the heart of Riviera del Sol which is a sporting complex with very good facilities. Olympic sized swimming pool, 7 tennis courts, badminton courts, mini golf and a gymnasium, not to mention the beauty salon/hairdressers and pysiotherapist. It is open to non residents and provides not only excellent reasonable priced food, but evening entertainment for all ages. A newly constructed and state of the art internet centre and games room caters for all ages. The atmosphere is very relaxing and to sit on the balcony enjoying the evening sun and just people watching, is in itself, a joy. As important, the people that run it are not only friendly but a real source of information. Trips, golf rounds etc can be booked from here and for a small fee one can use the clubs facilities. Club del Sol - tennis. 5 minutes by car from villa. The nearby Club del Sol has 12 excellent tennis courts comprising 7 brand new clay courts and 5 plexi-cushion courts. Seven brand new clay courts are open 7 days a week from 09.00 in until 21.30 hours. The Miraflores Bowls Club is a 5 minute walk from the villa and provides two all weather greens and due to the climate of the Costa del Sol, members and guests are able to play all year round. All guests are welcome, either have a game of bowls or enjoy a snack or drink at the bar whilst leisurely watching a game. The Club is open Monday-Saturday.
Booking notes
10% deposit required to secure booking - required within two weeks of making booking. Full payment to be received six weeks prior to let. Returnable security/breakage deposit of £100 to be paid. Cancellation refunds - up to 12 weeks – no cancellation charge but deposit forfeited. 12-6 weeks – 60% of letting rate refunded, less than 6 weeks no refund.
