A minimum returnable security deposit of £200 per booking is required and will be refunded once the apartment has been checked after departure. Saturdays. Arrival 3 pm and departure 10 am (flexible where possible).

Notes on accommodation
This apartment is fully air-conditioned and heated. This fabulous home is owned by two airline staff, the property reflects the exacting standards and value for money that is expected wherever and whenever one decides to spend time away. Contructed by a locally renowned developer, many of the apartments are permanent residential dwellings. This apartment and location really does offer the full package and something for everyone.
No smoking indoors ( on the terrace only). No pets.
Accessibility
Wheelchair friendly (lifts). The apartment can also be accessed from roadside level and is suitable for less able guests. Princess Park is just 2 minutes drive to the toll road eix/entrance (Calahonda), for the motorway (A7/E15), linking you to the southern coast. Golfers have a vast selection of courses locally to chose from which are second to none.
Outside
Set amongst a beautiful area of sub-tropical gardens, views of this area accentuate the peaceful Andalucian atmosphere, offering a tranquil position and yet convenient for all the amenities and facilities Calahonda has to offer. There are 5 pools to use. The apartment looks directly onto a swimming pool. There are outside utilities, toilets, showers and changing rooms available with the swimming pool and child's pool. The large terrace balcony is furnished with beautiful sunloungers and table and chairs to seat 4.
Coast/Beach
Playa Calahonda has a fairytale, postcard setting conveniently close to the town centre. Very popular, explore the caves to the east on a well maintained but windy path. (10 mis drive). Playa Cabopino is a popular venue where you can enjoy a good meal before a walk along its sandy beaches. Many of the local beaches are only a short drive, you will be spoilt for choice.
Golf
La Siesta - Calahonda (approx 5 min drive from apt) 9 Hole, par 3 course. Certainly a course to sharpen up your short game with driving range, putting green, restaurant and club house.
Cabopino - (approx 10 min drive from apt.) 18 Hole course. Located above Cabopino Marina, it is set amongst umbrella pines. Challenging for all golfers, the greens offer generous targets and usually in tip top condition.
Miraflores - (approx 10 min drive). 18 Hole course. Follows the gentle contours of the Sierra Mijas foothills and affords breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. This is a family orientated club, where young and old, novices and advanced golfers can enjoy a game.
La Carla - (approx 10 min drive). This is the only resort on the Costa Del Sol with three 18 Hole courses plus a six-hole par 3. Something here for everyone.
El Chaparral - (10/15 min drive). 18 Hole course. One of the Costas emblematic courses.
Skiing
It is a 90 minute drive to the Sierra Nevada mountains and ski resorts.
Travel
Malaga Airport is a 20 minute drive. Car hire is reccomended, however, there is a local taxi company or airport pick up/drop off can be pre-arranged at extra cost. Aprox 40 euros each way. This needs to be confirmed at time of booking.

Calahonda - 5 min drive. Marbella - 10 min drive. Puerto Banus - 15 min drive. Fuengirola - 15 min drive. Malaga Old Town - 25 min drive. Malaga Airport - 20/30 min drive, depending on time of day. Rhonda - 45 min drive. Granada - 90 min drive. Seville - 2 hour drive. Madrid - 4 hour drive.
Further details
Calahonda offers a quiet, crowd free environment coveted by many to escape the noise and crowds but with the benefit of having access to resorts. There are numerous supermarkets, an exceptional choice of varying cuisine, bistros and cafes dotted around the area. Calahonda itself is full of beautiful well established homes with pretty streets. It has plenty of nightlife too and has a 'buzz' day and night. Just a short distance away is Puerto Cabopina which has the reputation for being the most secluded and picturesque port on the Costa and is a popular venue for tourists. Some of the most popular restaurants, such as Alberts and Giuseppes Pizzeria are located here.
There is a modern equipped sports centre 10 min walk from the apartment (daily/weekly membership is available for a small fee). There is a limited shuttle service direct to beach and all local amenities.
Booking notes
A 50% deposit is required, remaining 50% payable 4 weeks before departure. £200 refundable security deposit, refunded once the key is returned and the apartment has been checked for damages.
