This is an old house surrounded by nature that can be found about 2 kilometres from the village of Castellterçol and about 40 kilometres from Barcelona. For different reasons of its origins and history, it is a farmhouse characterized by a very extensive dimensions, occupying a total of 700 m2. Divided in three different floors, totally restored, still conserves the traditional structure of the typical Catalan country house. The ground floor has kitchen/dining room with fireplace, lounge, dining room. The first floor has a big lounge with fireplace; four double bedrooms, each one with its own bathroom, and a suite. The second floor also offers a big lounge with fireplace, four bedrooms and a bathroom.

Outside
The outsides of the house are very extensive and very diverse in order to make use of them during all year.
On the south side, there is a large area with a terrace and very sunny, ideal for winters.
On the north east side, an annex with sofas and nice views to the Pyrenees and a big swimming pool (7x16 metres), perfect for summers. Next to it, a covered barbeque.
The outsides also offers a ping-pong, basketball, football and play area with swings.
Coast/Beach
A great variety of beaches relatively close to el Munt:
Costa Brava, 100 km by car; Maresme, 50 km by car and Sitges, 80 km by car.
Golf
Two golf courses close to the villa. One in the village of Castellterçol and the other in the village of Moià.
Skiing
Closest sky resorts from Castellterçol:
Alp 2500 Masella - Molina. 120 km.
Port del Compte. 115 km.

About the owner
We are a family formed by Ramona and Josep, 2 daughters and the grandparents. We are a family of farmers, having farms of pigs and cows, and since the 1999 we are working also in the tourism industry as we own 4 country houses.
Three of them are from the family since 1572 and the other one, the villa el Munt, is the last one we bought in 2006, and it has been a new challenge for us as this is a completely different villa having different services like for example, an indoor swimming pool.
