There is secure fencing around the perimeter of the property which is fitted with breezo screening for your privacy and the main entrance is gated, making it ideal for families with younger children. Off-street parking is provided by a car port which has room for two vehicles. There are sheltered terraces at the front and rear, and the villa’s 4x8m pool is located at the front of the property and has its own patio area with a round stone table, seating and a sun parasol. This is surrounded by well-kept lawns with a Mediterranean planting scheme. Front terrace: Covered outdoor area with tiled flooring, hardwood dining table and six chairs, two comfortable sun loungers and views to the Sierra Bernia Mountains. Rear terrace: Covered outdoor area with tiled flooring, hardwood dining table and six chairs, two comfortable sun loungers and Weber BBQ.
Coast/Beach
Villa Calmia is located on the Costa Blanca, which is a 170-mile stretch of coastline on the east coast of Spain. The Arenal (5 mins drive) makes the most of Javea’s sheltered bay, with 450m of Blue Flag beach with warm, shallow waters and litter-free sands. Moraira is also located just 5mins away. The main beach area here (L'Ampolla) has shallow waters and clean sands and is a good base for a number of watersports.
Golf
Courses near Villa Calmia: Javea: Just two minutes’ drive from Villa Calmia, the Javea Golf Club offers a nine hole course with a par of 72 (18 holes), two putting greens, a driving range, changing facilities and a caddy area. Denia: The La Sella course is part of the Denia Marriott La Sella hotel, just 15 minutes’ drive from Villa Calmia. The 18-hole course opened in 1991 and was designed by Jose María Olazábal. With a driving range and putting green, the Denia Marriott La Sella course is 6,072 yards and par for the course is 72. Benidorm: Benidorm is home to a number of golf courses, the most renowned of which is the Real de Faula golf club which has two courses – only half an hour’s drive away from Villa Calmia and just uphill from Benidorm, the courses were designed by Jack Nicklaus. At a combined 6612 metres in length, the club is split into two courses – the Executive South course offers 18 holes with a par of 62, while the Championship North course has 18 holes with a par of 72.

The nearest airports are Alicante and Valencia, which are both less than 1 hour’s drive away from Villa Calmia.

Nearby Javea, just 5 minutes’ drive from the villa, maintains the charm of a traditional Spanish market town and fishing port. Further along the coast the popular resorts of Denia, Moraira, Calpe and Benidorm offer something for everyone.
