The house itself is basic but all works, with a fitted kitchen and an open fire in the lounge. The house is equipped with a washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer, TV, video, DVD and stereo. The outside area is flat and has a good size patio area with plenty of shade for the summer. The swimming pool (10m x 5m) is a ‘deposito’ type which means that it is also used to water the oranges and is regularly refilled. It is not heated but is great in the summer. The village is on the CV50 between Alzira and Tavernes de Valdigna in Valencia province. It is 45 minutes from Valencia airport and one and a half hours from Alicante airport. The house is 15 minutes walk from the village which has a baker, butcher, SPAR, chemist and 3 bars with associated restaurants. Alzira (15 minutes drive) has a Carrefour and Tavernes (15 minutes drive) has a Mercadona for a supermarket shop. It is 20 minutes drive to Tavernes which has a flat sandy uncrowded beach.

Bathrooms: Separate bathroom with basin, shower, bidet and toilet.
Kitchen: The kitchen is well equipped with a hob, microwave, oven, fridge freezer and all utensils. Ironing board and iron provided.
Utility Room: The washing machine and drying area are situated in the covered area behind the house.
Living Rooms: Large lounge with open fireplace, TV, video and DVD.
Other: The house is child friendly and secure and there is a rope swing in the garden. The access into the house is flat.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Linen and bath towels included. Swimming towels not included. Linen changed weekly. Full clean between lets.

Notes on accommodation
The house is suitable for children and is secure. The flat patio area is ideal for outside living.

Accessibility
The property is all on one level and access inside is via a small step. The property has not been specially constructed or adapted but would suit those looking for easy access.

The swimming pool (10x5m) is a ‘deposito’ type which means that it is also used to water the oranges and is regularly refilled. It is not heated but is great for cooling off in the summer.

Coast/Beach
The property is 20 mins to the nearest beach at Tavernes. The beach is long and sandy and generally uncrowded. Alternatively, a 30 mins drive will take you to Gandia or Cullera which are both fishing ports, well known for their bars, restaurants and long expanses of sandy beach.

Travel
The house is 45 mins from Valencia airport and one and a half hours from Alicante airport. A car is essential.

Distances
The house is situated in La Barraca de Aguas Vivas which is a village on the CV50 between Alzira and Tavernes de Valdigna in Valencia province. It is 25 mins drive to the ancient town of Xativa, and 45 mins to the centre of Valencia itself.

Further details

Booking notes
30% of the total rental cost is payable on booking. The full balance of the rental cost plus a £300.00 returnable breakage deposit must be paid no later than 8 weeks prior to arrival.
