Situated in the mature and highly sought after area of Verdemar II, Villamartin. Surrounded by 3 championship golf courses with sandy beaches a mere 5 minutes away. This highly furnished villa is a bungalow with private solarium/roof. Our community has a private swimming area 20 seconds walk consisting of two large pools. Only guests of Verdemar II are entitled to its use. So it is a very friendly and relaxed place to be. We have tried to maintain a home from home feel in all rooms of the bungalow, yet have refrained from stealing the traditional Spanish essence. Our villa is a two bedroomed bungalow with the ability to sleep six, located in Villamartin which is a scenic relaxing location in which to stay. We are situated close to all local shops, bars and restaurants. The villa is furnished to a high standard and has air-conditioning which cools in summer and warms in winter ensuring that your nights are restful.

Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning is included. We will be meeting you at your holiday home and in your villa you will find a laminated welcome pack consisting: directions to the villa, the beach, the supermarket, the pharmacy. A map of the local area. Contact details for us. Security instructions. Air-conditioning details. Washing machine, oven, hob, TV, DVD, and satellite. TV channel list. Things to do. Swimming pool rules.
The Villa is alarmed and secure. There is also a guard patrol. Outside there are both front and rear areas where if you wish you can eat a meal or simply enjoy a glass of wine by candlelight. Above the villa there is a large private solarium accessible from the side of the property where you will find tables and chairs for resting, reading, relaxing. The solarium storage box contains spades and buckets, inflatables, boogie boards, Tonka type toys, skittles, cushions for the chairs.
Accessibility
The entrance to the villa and the number of steps on the solarium make this property unsuitable for wheelchairs.
Outside
The pool is actually two split-level pools and a waterfall; the upper area is shallower with an inclined edge ideal for children and toddlers. There are also showers where you can wash off after your swim (of course, whilst wearing your costume). As the pool is solely for residents and guests of Verdemar II, entry is via a locked gate, the key to which is located within your villa. The shared pool is 20-30 seconds walk from the villa. The pool area was refurbished in early 2005.
Coast/Beach
La Zenia beach is a short five minute drive away and is a beautiful blue flag standard beach. There are beach bars, restaurants and many coastal walks to be encountered.
In Torrevieja there is the Acropolis Water park and slightly further afield there is Terramitica, the Disney of Spain and Mundomar (SeaWorld).
Golf
The local area is a golfing heaven. With year round sunshine, there are 3 championship golf courses within a 15 minute drive. The Villamartin Golf Course is a frequent location for the Mediterranean Open. There is a bar and restaurant that can be used, even if you are not playing golf. Villamartin is the most established of the three local courses. With an abundance of olive trees and well placed bunkers, it makes a challenging course for players of all handicaps. The picturesque par 3 ninth with a tee shot over a lake is a wonderful setting.
Travel
Driving casually the villa is 25 minutes from Murcia airport and 45 minutes from Alicante airport. We supply full colour directions plus autoroute directions plus GPS co-ordinates. A hire car is recommended. We have used and recommended the same hire car company for over fifteen years, we have always been happy with the reliability and efficiency. By their own admission they are not the cheapest but like to think that they are the best value (some hire companies don’t include air con!).
Further details
There are bars, shops, supermarkets and banks within wakling distance. We have made the villa a comfortable home from home place to stay without stealing the Spanish essence and have worked hard to ensure that your stay in our villa lives up to its expectation.

Check the availability then contact us to confirm and we will pencil you in for 3-4 days, in the meantime we will send you (email or post) the booking form and terms and conditions, the booking form should be signed and completed where applicable and returned with your deposit. Upon receipt of the form and your deposit we will send you a booking confirmation. The full balance is required eight weeks prior to your holiday.
