For those who like the best of both worlds coated in a touch of luxury! 2 bedroom duplex apartment sleeping a maximum of 6. Situated on the top floors of a five star hotel, in a quiet area of the resort but right beside the pistes and chairlifts. A large comfortable open plan living/dining area. A hatch from the separate kitchen serves the dining area. The kitchenette was originally designed to supplement meals taken in the hotel although the present owner has incorporated a small oven and hob as an independent option. Opposite the kitchen the downstairs cloakroom incorporates a shower to help with the rush hour queue! Upstairs there are two double bedrooms both with twin beds plus a further separate shower/bathroom with full bath, bidet, basin and WC.

Changeover day
The changeover day is Friday. On arrival the property will be available from 5.30pm and on departure must be vacated by 10.00am. Please advise if you are likely to arrive outside normal office hours. There is a small call out fee after 10.00pm.

Kitchen: The kitchenette was originally designed to supplement meals taken in the hotel although the present owner has incorporated a small fridge oven and hob as an independent option.
Living Rooms: From the large entrance hall steps lead to a large comfortable open plan living/dining area. A hatch serves the dining area from the separate kitchen. Double sofas (one sofabed) and coffee table complete sitting area with satellite TV.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
The property will be cleaned and prepared ahead of your arrival. Towels and linen are provided. There is no maid service.

 

Notes on accommodation
The inexhaustible hot water is supplied by the hotel and the central heating can be regulated to taste by independent thermostats on each floor. Although this property is privately owned, guests are welcome to use the hotel facilities which include two bars and a first class restaurant and breakfast bar as well as a health spa offering beauty treatments a sauna and jacuzzi. Accessibility
From the underground parking a lift to the top floor allows wheelchair access to the duplex although the split level living area and the bedrooms on the upper floor are not ideal and would be problematic.

Skiing
For those who like the best of both worlds coated in a touch of luxury! This attic duplex apartment in a 5* hotel is situated RIGHT BESIDE the pistes and chairlifts! Sierra Nevada is Europe’s most southerly ski village! The uniqueness of its geographical situation - only an hour from the sunny beaches of the Costa Tropical and thirty minutes from the beautiful city of Granada (home to the Alhambra Palace) offers plenty for both skiers and non skiers alike. The village also offers some of the best and most lively après ski to be found anywhere in Europe. A wide variety of restaurants offering a diverse range of International cuisine to suit all tastes and purses… A gymnasium, health club, indoor swimming pool and at weekends 'night skiing' on floodlit slopes.

Travel
Ryanair offer a daily flight to Granada. The airport is about an hours drive from the ski area in Sierra Nevada. Getting up the mountain by public transport is complicated. Car hire is recommended although taxi is another option.

Distances
The fabulous city of Granada and the famous Alhambra Palace are only 30 minutes down the mountain. You are advised to prebook tickets to the Alhambra to avoid disappointment. The city offers a very cosmopolitan atmosphere with great shopping in the Moorish quarter. Flamenco and 'doing the tapateo' are popular with both locals and visitors. The tapa (titbit) is still served free with every alcoholic drink in this city!

Booking notes
To confirm a booking requires 25% deposit which can be paid in sterling in UK. The balance is paid in Euros on collection of the key in Sierra Nevada.
