Other beaches include the peaceful and pristine El Saler beach located along a lovely pine grove. Baron de Petres is within 25 km of three excellent 18 hole Golf Courses: El Saler, El Bosque and El Escorpion.

Travel
Valencia International airport. 20 minute direct metro ride from airport to apartment metro stop. Alternatively 10 minute taxi ride. Car rental not necessary as everything is located so close to the apartment. If arriving from Alicante airport you can either take a train (bookings can be made 60 days or less in advance) or drive and either drop the car off at the hire company or park it for free on the street just outside the historical quarter.

Superbly located in traditional Spanish building in the corner of a quiet square yet only 5 minutes walk from one of Valencia's historic Plazas - Plaza de la Reina- in the central old town, it was spacious ( high ceilings) & tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. Very clean with 2 modern shower rooms, a bonus for four people, and a fully equipped compact kitchen attached to the large dining room. The living room was large with comfortable sofas. We spent a week in glorious November sunshine knowing we were returning each evening to relaxing surroundings with very comfortable beds to follow. Highly recommended and great value in 5* luxury.

We are an Irish family that located to Valencia in 2004.
My parents are now retired and enjoy the benefits of living in Valencia with 300 days of sunshine, a healthy lifestyle, and a relaxing environment. I am fluent in Spanish, and assist as necessary, in supporting my parents in running a number of apartments. My family has twenty years experience in welcoming holiday guests in both Dublin and Valencia. You can always be sure of an Irish welcome!

We searched the whole of Europe before selecting Valencia. It is a hidden gem! It is unique in culture and tradition and very Spanish. The architecture is amazing. It is a real city, but within minutes of of sand and beaches. And 300 days of wall to wall sunshine.
