Coast/Beach
Stretching from the Gulf of Valencia to Cabo de Palos, Costa Blanca is for the most part, flat and sandy. Many beaches and holiday resorts from lively Benidorm to the more typical resorts of Denia and Javea. Holidaymakers can enjoy this region year round because of its extremely mild climate.
Golf
The Altea Golf Course Don Cayo is close to the villa. There are 2 courses in Javea approx 15 mins drive away. Also recently 2 new courses opened close to Terra Mitica which is approx 6km away.
Travel
For arrivals by plane: airport Valencia-Manises (VLC) 60 min, Alicante-El Altet (ALC) 30 min. 15 min from Benidorm. 10 min from Alfaz del Pi.
We recommend you a visit to the nearby resort Playa Albir a great family holiday resort between Benidorm and Altea with a wonderful atmosphere, full of restaurants, cafes and a sea promenade with hippy stalls.

The house is located at 5 min of the beach and services and within walking distance of restaurant and local shop. Located on a steep hillside a short walk from the sea, Altea offers breathtaking views over the Bay. It’s always a pleasure to stroll through the peaceful Old Town with its narrow streets full of traditional Spanish houses - their whitewashed facades often teeming with bougainvilleas and geraniums. In the Plaza, the cultural and leisure centre of Altea is the Church of the Virgen del Consuelo (Our Lady of Solace). Around the church the streets are a jumble of fashionable shops, restaurants and a high quality craft market. Sit and eat the best in Mediterranean cuisine while enjoying the astounding views. Altea is still a working port and you can watch the fishermen returning in the evening while enjoying seafood and a drink. Pavement cafés and bars overlooking the Mediterranean invite you to sit and have a drink and just enjoy the ambience of the port, after completing your shopping.

Fishing village, in the eastern part of the region, in a convenient position, 50km north-east from Alicante, 100km south-east from Valencia. Supermarket, shops, restaurant, bar. Access: access via a good road. Railway station in the resort. Calpe 10km. Benidorm 10km. Lovely seaside resort with nice typical bars and restaurants in the old town. Many international artists live here giving the resort a special atmosphere.
