The apartment offers a lift for easy accessibility for prams, pushchairs and wheel chair users. The air-conditioning is functioned for hot and cold. The club Nautic is 3-5 minutes walk, where you can use the facilities of the gymnasium, swimming pool for a small fee.

Accessibility

3 mins walk to nearest beach. 1 min walk to choice of restaurants, bars and the port. 3 mins walk to supermarkets, shops, banks etc.
Golf
The Costa Brava is Spain's best emerging golfing area, due the more pleasant climate and quality of courses, there are 8 high quality golf clubs are within 40 mins drive with Peralada being the closest (approx 10 mins away).
Skiing
Skiing is available in the winter at several nearby Pyrenean resorts, less than 3 hours drive. Contact me for any further information you need for combining sunny walks along the beach with top-class skiing in the fantastic resorts that are based in the Pyrenees. One day trips to 3 night trips can be arranged.

Walking in the nature reserves. Water sports: water skiing, kite surfing, windsurfing, scuba diving, jet skiing, golf at one of several top-class local clubs, horse riding, mountain walking

Travel
A car is not essential as the apartment is central to all amenities. Barcelona airport is less than 2 hours drive away, Girona Airport is less than a 1 hour drive away. Perpignan Airport (Rivesaltes, South France) less than 1 hour drive away. Self drive car hire is available from all above airports. Airport transfer can be arranged.
Distances
The heart of Empuriabrava can be reached on foot in 5 mins. The town of Roses is 10 mins away by car or bus and 20 mins by bicycle along a designated cycle route. A local bus service is available in summer to Figueres. Fast train service from Figueres to Girona and Barcelona.
Further details
Local supermarket nearby, main shops, restaurants, bars, banks, hairdresser, Internet cafes and leisure facilities, can all be reached on foot in a matter of minutes. Close by is Empuriabrava's Club Nautica situated adjacent to the Marina, offering short term membership to a range of leisure facilities, including large swimming pool, gymnasium, jacuzzi, sauna, badminton, squash courts and bar.
