This individual designer villa by Joaquin Lloret, one of Spain's leading architects is located just above the picturesque beach cove of El Portet. It has a stunning eagles nest position with spectacular sea and coastline views from all rooms and from its large private pool and gardens. The villa's south facing location ensures sunshine from early morning until the evening when spectacular sunsets behind the Sierra Bernia mountains can be witnessed from the house. Bordering the Zona Verde (nature reserve) makes it a tanquil and very private place. El Portet Beach and its quaint waterside restaurants are walking distance from the villa. The villa is of the highest quality with handmade Spanish tiles in kitchen and bathrooms and terrracotta floors everywhere. It is equipped with all 'mod cons' and furnished as a private home with many antiques. The house is very light and airy with a great feeling for space: from the 11 meter long lounge, spacous kitchen to the large bedrooms.

Changeover day
Changeover day is usually Saturday. However, outside the main season we will consider a different arrival day.

Outside
Having been individually designed by one of Spain's leading architects, the house has a distinct Mediterranean flair with several very private patios, balconies and terraces provding sun or shade - whichever you like. The gardens are well looked after and have a beautiful show of subtropical flowers and large palm trees. Our garden runs into the nature reserve and is therefore very private - suitable even for sunbathing 'au naturel'. The large private pool (55 m2) is floodlit at night and wraps around the villa. For the more timid swimmer or the less mobile there are easy broad steps into the pool plus a platform. It is shallow where you enter and gently shelves to the deeper end. Next to the pool is a built-in BBQ with running water into an antique stone basin. There is a poolside shower and of course plenty of patio furniture, sun loungers and a teak dining table with chairs.
Coast/Beach
The very picturesque beach cove of El Portet is walking distance from the villa. In a recent article the Mail claims that El Portet is the prettiest beach on the Mediterranean side of Spain. It is a blue flag beach and the colours of the water are simply stunning. Its sandy beach shelves gently in. There are a few simple waterside cafes and a very special restaurant. Several other beaches are in and around Moraira. The large town beach of Moraira is 2km away.
Golf
Several golf courses are nearby, including championship standard. The nearest golf course is in Moraira itself, about 3 miles from the house.
