This amazing penthouse apartment is luxuriously finished and furnished both indoors and out. It is ideal for, couples, families and golf holidays. It has from its 3 terraces (totalling 250m2!) panoramic views from Sotogrande to the rock of Gibraltar and Africa and is right in front of the 18th hole on the Alcaidesa Links course. The top solarium has a private jacuzzi pool and is equipped for sunbathing. The main terrace is furnished with luxurious dining and lounge furniture and BBQ - perfect for entertaining! This airy and light apartment has living space of 100m2. The living room has three double sliding doors which open up to both the breakfast terrace and the main terrace. The bedrooms are lovely and quiet with electric blinds you can control from beside your bed. The apartment has air-conditioning/heating throughout. There are 3 communal pools, 24h security and 2 private underground parking spaces. Alcaidesa is an oasis on the Costa del Sol, a very special place!

Notes on accommodation
This apartment is suitable for couples as well as families. Only reservation for small children is perhaps the spiral staircase which leads to top terrace from main terrace. Fantastic communal pools for all ages in the complex and the beaches nearby are excellent and very suitable for children all ages. Several access routes by car to beach which is sandy and goes on for miles! There are facilities such as showers and toilets on a number of points.
Excellent air-conditioning and heating throughout the apartment. Private jacuzzi pool and sunbathing on top terrace and 3 communal poos on complex. Satellite TV with all the British channels for all the family! DVD player including lots of films. There also plenty of games and books.
24h security on complex and buzzer system to apartment.
Accessibility
Easy access for disabled from carpark to apartment with lift. Also easy to manoeuvre around apartment, exception being top terrace which is accessed from main terrace via spiral staircase.
Outside
The apartment has incredible outdoor living space on 3 terraces where the views are simply stunning. The main terrace (110m2) is luxuriously furnished with dining and lounge furniture and gas BBQ. It has panoramic views and sits right in front of the 18th hole of the Alcaidesa Links golf course. Perfect for entertaining or just chilling after a day at the beach or a round of golf. The top solarium (110m2), which is completely private and has amazing views, has sunbeds and a jacuzzi pool which is filled with water at the temperature you wish. There are shaded areas on both terraces. The breakfast terrace has views directly onto the rock of Gibraltar. There are 3 further swimming pools on the complex.
Coast/Beach
The beach at Alcaidesa is the most amazing on the Costa del Sol with golden sand for miles! There are several good access points, at only a couple of minutes drive from the apartment, where you can take the car directly down to the beach. Several of these have facilities such as showers and toilets. The beach is lovely and very suitable for families as well as couples. If you feel fit you can walk all the way to Gibraltar in about 2 hours! (15 min taxi ride back!).
Golf
Alcaidesa is a hot spot for golf and this property is only 5 min walk from the brand new state of the art Alcaidesa Links Club house. This property has panoramic views over the golf course and sits directly in front of the 18th hole. Alcaidesa Links is a challenging course and its scenery is amazing. The brand new (opened late 2007) Alcaidesa Heathlands is Championship standards, quoting golfing guests "the course reminded me of Gleaneagles and Loch Lomond"!. As resident in Alcaidesa you receive a 20% discount on your green fee. The Golf Club hosted the Andalucian Professional Individual Championships in the last week of October 2007 and the Volvo Masters was held at Valderamma the week after, which is just 5 min drive away. Other clubs a short drive away include San Roque, Sotogrande and Duquesa.
Travel
The closest airport is Gibraltar (15 min drive). Both Jerez and Malaga are only about 1 hours drive away. Algeciras (15min drive) has frequent ferry crossings to Africa (quickest is 45 min). A car is essential for this property.

Distances
Andalucia is an amazing province, there is something for everyone! Places of immense cultural interests are, to mention but a few, Seville (2h drive), Ronda and Granada (1h30min drive). Alcaidesa is also very well placed for an active holiday, see golf above and 25min drive away is the kite/wind surfing paradise of Tarifa. The area is also ideal for cykling/mountain biking. Last but not least the Costa del sol is a shoppers paradise, Sotogrande (10min drive) and Gibraltar (15 min) are closest.
Further details
There is bars/restaurants, a small shop and a pharmacy in Alcaidesa. Bigger supermarkets/shopping malls a short drive. Super Carrefour in Los Barrios (15 min). The Dragonfly by the square is where everyone meets - good food and good company! The beachbar has excellent food and does sunbeds 2 for 6 euros per day.
The Aldiana all inclusive resort does good value day passes which include a day by the pool and food and drink all day. In Algeciras you will find the Bahia waterpark. Great fun for kids all ages!
Booking notes
We require a 25% deposit at time of booking and the remainder 6 weeks before arrival. We also require a £300 security deposit before arrival which will be refunded to you on satisfactory inspection.
