Outside the villa benefits from its own 7m private pool, with a shallow end perfect for the children. The 4 terraces have garden and pool furniture and are lovely places for watching the sunrise and sunset over the surrounding hills, alfresco dining or just lazing by the pool. Perfect for all the family. Excellent golf course within 25 km. Situated 30km from the Sierra Nevada the villa is ideal for walkers and hikers during Spring and Autumn. There are numerous tracks through the olive groves, ideal for cyclists and mountain bikers. The temperature in this area rarely falls below 12 degrees with midday summer temperatures rising well above 30. Cheap flights with Ryanair from Gatwick, Gatwick and Liverpool to Granada. Granada airport 20 mins drive. Monarch also services Granada. Malaga airport with EasyJet:75 minutes drive. Car hire available at both airports.

Accessibility
Car hire essential. Property may not be suitable for children under 3 due to large number of steps. Property not suitable for the infirm. 26 steps to access lower level. Further 15 stairs to access first floor.

Outside
Pool furniture and outdoor furniture for alfresco dining provided. 7m private swimming pool with 1m shallow end and 2m deep end. Pool attended to twice weekly. 4 terraces so guests can enjoy privacy. Private garden with herbs and fruit trees. The pool area is ideal for BBQ's, set right next to the attractive garden with its pomegranite, fig and quince trees. The top tier of the garden has culinary herbs available for guests to use in cooking.

Coast/Beach
Motril is the nearest beach 97km, about an hour's drive. Very good beaches.

Golf
Excellent 18 hole Madina Elvira Golf Course within 20 minutes drive from the villa. And 40 minutes drive the lovely Santa Clara golf course. Golf clubs available on request.

Skiing
Skiing within one hour's drive in the Sierra Nevada resort approximately 35 kilometres. This is a popular ski resort, and is the most Southerly in Europe. In the ski season it can be used to its fullest extent in the morning, with a return to Montesol and a dip in the pool in the afternoon!

Bookings less than 6 weeks before arrival to be paid in full. We can accept payments by cheque or bank transfer in GBP or euros.

Spectacular views, wonderful villa, lovely pool! A real chance to un-wind and get away from the rat-race. Highlights? The staggering mosque at Cordoba (well worth the drive), the golf in Granada, the hidden restaurant in Tozar and the ferreteria (ironmonger's) just down the road. Mr P.T.

My husband and I live in England - with our 2 children. We both work, but spend most of our holidays in Spain, where we have made many friends and have really fallen in love with the country.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We love Montesol and the surrounding area because of the fantastic views and peace and quiet here. There are a good range of bars and restaurants close by. The area is easily accessible with Granada airport half an hour away and Malaga airport less than two hours drive away.

Unique benefits of the property
This is a luxurious 3 bedroom, Spanish style villa with a pool and 4 terraces. It is ideal for families with children or even adults wanting to just soak in the sunshine. The villa is half an hour from central Granada with its Cathedral and 40 minutes from the Alhambra Palace. Cordoba, with its famous mosque is 2 hours drive north. There really is something for everyone here including golf for the dads and skiing for the family. For those of you who prefer to chill out by the pool and enjoy the views and sunshine then you can barbecue and dine alfresco all through the day.
