I am happy to take shorter bookings out of peak season, but due to changeover costs the minimum nights charge will be for 5 nights.

Changeover day
Ideally changeover days are Saturday, although I do try to flexible (dependant upon bookings). Arrivals preferably mid afternoon (although again, this is flexible, dependant upon the next guests arrival).

Accommodation

Notes on accommodation
Because Alcossebre is well served by the budget airlines, short breaks are ideal. I am happy to book by 'the night' but I regret that the minimum booking is 5 nights. The apartment is on the 1st floor, and is not suitable for those in a wheelchair.
The apartment is fuelled by electricity and does not have gas.

Amenities/Facilities provided

Outside
The large (shared) pool, with childrens paddle area, is clean and well maintained, as is the tennis court. The property has ample parking, and beautifully maintained gardens. There is plenty of shade available.

There are two verandas, one receives the morning sun, the other the evening sun. There are 2 outside tables with sun umberellas and chairs and two sunbeds for your use.

Coast/Beach
There are 5 beaches in and around Alcossebre. All are excellent, and meet the Europena Blue Flag standard for cleanliness. The closest beach (Playa Romana) is a few minutes stroll from the La Senia complex. All of the beaches are gently sloping, with clean golden sand, and sea ideal for children and adults alike.

Golf
The beautiful golf course (Panoramica) is an approximate 20 minutes drive, it was designed by Bernhard Langer, and opened last year. Another course (Cap i Corp) is being built with completion due late 2006. There is also Sergio Garcia's course at Castellon - about 25 - 30 minute drive away

Special interest holidays
The Americas Cup was held in Valencia in 2007, and will the area will be holding the competition again in 2009. Access to Valencia is very good with nearby mountains, there are a number of excellent walking trails, and mountain bike trails nearby. There is a horse stable, which offers gentle coastal riding and scuba diving based in the lovely marina of Las Fuentes.

Travel
Barcelona approx 1 hour 50 minute drive. Reus (Barcelona) approx 1 hour drive. Valencia approx 50 minute drive.

The roads are well maintained and safe. A car is highly recommended, if only to get from the airport, although once in Alcossebre, everything is within walking distance.

Distances
The apartment is in the Playa Romana area of Alcossebre, a 15 - 20 minute walk into the town itself. Nearby Las Fuentes with its beautiful marina is within walking distance. For the fun followers, then the Universal theme park about an hours drive up the coast.

Peniscola with its 'El Cid' castle/Fort is worth the short drive. The stunning medieval town of Morrella is an hours drive.

Further details
The local supermarket is a short walk from the complex, as are some excellent restaurants. In the town centre, are 2 small supermarkets, a number of banks/plenty of cash machines, a tourist information centre, and many many restaurants, bars and tapas bars.

We are approx 20 minutes drive from the Marina D'or facility in Oropesa, although not to everyones taste the actualy complex of Marina D'or offers an afternoon of sheer pampering with their numerous health suites.

£50 deposit secures booking (non refundable if cancelled within 6 week of arrival). Full payment required 7 weeks prior to arrival. To book and for further information, please email below. Arrival time after 1pm( but I will try to be flexible). Departure time 10am. (I do try to be flexible so if you wish to book an evening flight then please contact me). Minimum booking is 5 nights.
