Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bed linen, tea towels and towels are provided. Apartment is cleaned prior to arrival and after departure. Please bring your own towels for use by the poolside. Cot and high chair available for hire - we just ask you to bring your own cot linen.

 

Notes on accommodation
For those with young children you can take comfort from being able to keep your eye on them from the sun terrace whilst they play at the pool. Hot and cold air-conditioning is provided for maximum comfort. Smoking is permitted only on the terrace. No pets allowed. Apartment available for both holiday and long-term lets. Outside
Sun terrace has seating for 4 and coffee table. Complex has beautiful landscaped gardens, full of exotic and fragrant plants. There are 7 pools, plus 1 baby splash pool. Paddle tennis courts.

Coast/Beach
5 min drive to La Duquesa beach, a large sandy beach, perfect for families, with beach bars and volleyball net. Walk the promenade all the way to Sabinillas beach, about a mile, to enjoy the views to Estepona and the rest of the New Golden Mile.

Golf
Well the Costa del Sol doesn’t have the nickname of ‘Costa del Golf’ for nothing! There are nearly 60 golf courses in Andalucia, of which 30 are on the Costa del Sol, so you’ll be spoilt for choice! The wonderful fine weather makes golf popular all year round. The area surrounding Duquesa boasts some of the best golf courses in Europe. Valderrama, which hosted the 1997 Ryder Cup is only 15 minutes away. La Duquesa Golf, Country Club & Spa is only a 5 min walk. La Duquesa Golf Course is a typical Trent Jones layout, demanding concentration and straight driving. The course winds around El Hacho Beacon Hill overlooking the Mediterranean to Africa. At the wonderful 17th hole, just 129m tee to green, but 30m straight down, you should beware of the wind, especially if the Poniente is blowing from the west. Details: 18 holes Par 70. Buggy and clubs hire. Hand cart rental, Restaurant/bar leisure facilities in clubhouse.

Travel
45 mins to both Malaga and Jerez airports. 20 mins to Gibraltar airport. Hire car recommended, we can suggest good suppliers at all locations.

Distances
Casares, a beautiful white washed Andalucian mountain village is 15 mins by car. Spend the day experiencing a traditional Spanish 'pueblo'. Ronda is only an hour away by car and is one of the most distinctive and beautiful towns in Spain. It is split in two by the El Tajo gorge. The bullring is the oldest in Spain and worth a visit. Gibraltar is only 25 mins away, don't forget your passport to cross the border. A cable car runs to the top of the rock, where you can meet the Barbary Apes.

Further details
The port and marina of La Duquesa has a variety of great bars and restaurants, as well as gift shops, DVD hire and internet cafes. Several large supermarkets are within a few minutes drive, the largest being the Carrefour in Estepona with everything you'll ever need and more! Booking notes
Dates will be held for 72 hours to enable flights and car hire to be booked. Deposit 25% of total balance. Remaining balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer or Pay Pal account. £150 refundable security deposit to be held until safe return of apartment. Baby cot and high chair can be hired for your stay. Prices on request. We just ask you to bring your own cot linen.

We had a fantastic holiday at the Duquesa Village apartment. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We stayed with a small child and you had even provided plastic cups and plates. Everything was clean, tidy and in good working order. The standard of the furnishings
was excellent.
The poolside area was clean and safe and had a covered area which was great for little children to play under in the hot summer sun. A car is essential in this area as the apartment is at the top of a steep hill. Dequesa port is only 5 mins away in the car, and is full of great places to eat and drink. Enjoy your holiday!
