Notes on accommodation
This apartment is suitable for year round use, with central heating as well as air-conditioning, and the mild winter weather, generally warmer than in the south. The water in the Mar Menor is usually warmer than in the neighbouring Mediterranean and the beaches are kept clean. Being ground floor it is great for kids.

Accessibility
The apartment has reasonable access for wheelchair users, though the bathrooms are not perfect.
Outside
The terrace is larger than usual. Half is under cover and so provides good shade, half gets sun from 2pm to dusk. There is even some sun from 9am to 11am, so if the pool area, communal and about 20 yards away round a corner, does not appeal...The table extends for 8. There are 6 chairs, two of which can recline for lazing. Dining for 8 requires chairs from inside. There are also two sun loungers.
Coast/Beach
The stunning beach is 1 mile away. It is clean, spacious and picturesque. There is a promenade running alongside it for miles providing easy and safe cycling.
Golf
The golf course, about 100 hundred yards away, is challenging and attractive with a smart club house and driving range. We have 3 sets of clubs which you may use. 1 right handed, 1 left handed and 1 child's left handed. These are decent and save the haulage from the UK, but you are probably a better and more discerning golfer than me!
Special interest holidays
We have 4 adult and 2 children's (6 to 10 years old) bikes for your use. Also a baby trailer which can also be good for carting towels and toys to the beach behind the bike.
Travel
Murcia (San Javier, MJV) airport is an easy 5 minute drive from the Roda Golf complex. Car hire is recommended. Europa is in the terminal building, within the baggage reclaim hall. Auriga has proven the cheapest but you are taken 1 mile from the terminal by bus for collection.
Distances
Los Alcarazes is less than 1 mile away. It has been a very Spanish holiday resort and now caters for all tastes. Cartegena, the Spanish foothold of Hannibal (no, not that one!) is a twenty minute drive south. Roman ruins and an ancient port are in there somewhere! Torrevieja is 45 minutes to the north and Murcia is 1 hour inland surrounded by a national park.
Booking notes
A deposit of £150 upon booking is held as bond until the apartment is inspected after the rental. Full payment is required one month before the rental or upon booking, whichever is shorter.
