It faces south-west with a large balcony overlooking extensive landscaped gardens with 3 community swimming pools and jacuzzi. The sweeping bay of La Cala provides a spectacular view. On some evenings the mountains of North Africa can be seen. Five minutes drive away is La Cala bay that has an excellent sandy beach and shops. Five minutes in the opposite direction is Fuengirola with aquapark, marina, beaches, restaurants and busy nightlife. There are superb golf courses at Mijas and La Cala. Quality shopping is available half-an-hour's drive away in Marbella and the nearby marina of Puerto Banus. Picturesque mountain villages such as Mijas and Casares and the Roman town of Ronda are worth visiting. Malaga, Granada, Estepona and Gibraltar are nearby for day trips.

Changeover day
Preferred changeover Wednesday, but flexible. Mid-week flights are cheaper on average.

Notes on accommodation
There is under-floor electric heating to rooms with marble floors (all except kitchen) and hot/cold air-conditioning to both the bedrooms and sitting/dining area. No pets. No smoking. 2nd floor unsuitable for wheelchair access (no lift).
Outside
Communal gardens and 3 pools, each with one 'beach' sloped end. 2 permanent and four folding sunloungers.6 pool sunloungers for your use only. Balcony dining table, umbrella and 6 chairs. Balcony coffee table. Attractive balcony plants and sun awnings. Balcony tap and hose.
Coast/Beach
10 min walk to closest beach. 5 min drive to nearest big sandy beach (La Cala bay). 10 min drive to sandy Fuengirola Beach. Good 30 minute walk along local beach (via overpass or 2 tunnels under main road).
Golf
Amongst the top golf courses within easy reach are Mijas, Miraflores, La Quinta, Alhaurin, San Roque and Cabopino. Our beautiful local 18-hole golf course at La Cala has a welcoming clubhouse and often has special offers for visitors.
Skiing
Nearest ski resort is approx 2hrs drive (Sierra Nevada).
Travel
Malaga airport at 30 min drive (30km). Car hire recommended (many car hire companies at airport) though not essential.
Distances
5 min walk to nearest shop (Las Farolas).
5 min drive to La Cala - Excellent sandy beach and shops.
8 min drive to Fuengirola - Aquapark, marina, beaches, shops, restaurants and a busy nightlife.
30 min drive to Marbella - Quality shopping.
