Two exceptional Spanish townhouses at the foot of a 13th century Arab castle in the ‘Casco Antiguo’ (historic old town) of this picturesque coastal town. One of the original town plots, the house dates back 500-700 years. It is situated close to the church, museum square, and Paseo de Los Flores where many of the local festivals and celebrations take place, making it an ideal location for experiencing the flavour and color of Southern Spain. The beach is a 20 minute walk (or you can take the bus). Each house has a private terrace for sunbathing and dining. A removable screen means that sole occupants can enjoy use of the full terrace.

Changeover day
We aim to be as flexible as possible with changeover days and times. Although special arrangements can be made for arrival and departure times, arrivals should generally be in the afternoon (4pm or later) and departures in the morning (10am).
Notes on accommodation
The houses have fully updated plumbing and electrical. Most rooms are furnished with ceiling fans and electric heaters.

Accessibility
The spiral staircases in Casa Bruja and wide staircase in Casa Vrana mean the houses are not suitable those with mobility problems or for toddlers as stairgates cannot be fitted.
Outside
Both terraces have sun lounger(s), parasols and tables and chairs for dining. Part of the screening deviding the terraces can be removed providing full use of the combined terrace for a small supplement for sole occupants.
Coast/Beach
The beach is only a 20 minute walk. They are comprised of sand and pebble and stretch for several kilometers between the Port of Motril and the town of La Caleta. El Penon rock juts out in the middle as an unmistakeable landmark. For a change of pace, from La Caleta going west you can hike along a rocky coast to find private enclaves away from the madding crowd, with clear emerald water at your feet.
Golf
The 9-hole Los Moriscos Club is 10 minutes away by car. Santa Clara's 18-hole course, just outside Granada, is 40 minutes away.
Skiing
The Pradollano resort in the Sierra Nevadas are only 75 km away where excellent skiing is typically available through mid-April.
Travel
Salobrena is less than an hours drive from the Granada airport and just over an hour from Malaga airport. A car is recommended to explore the outlying area though not a necessity. Parking is where you find it, and there are spaces next to the house, but even during the busiest months (July and August), if these spaces are not available, parking can be found nearby in the upper part of the town.

Granada 40 mins. Malaga 60 mins. Nerja 25 mins.
