Air-conditioning hot & cold & double glazing. Just off the road to the picturesque village of Benahavís which is known for its' great choice of restaurants where you can try typical spanish dishes. There are also a number of small shops and galleries with original artworks. A 10 minute drive will take you to Puerto Banus and San Pedro, an unspoilt charming spanish town is just a 5 minute drive away, here you will find traditional shops, sidewalk cafes and excellent tapas bars. A short walk down the main promenade takes you to the golden beaches & beach bars.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment measures 115 sq mt which is larger than the average 2 bed apartment and has a 30 sq mt terrace. Air conditioning is hot and cold and being a corner unit there are windows in both bathrooms.The sofa bed is a double and is suitable for both adults and children. There is underground parking with direct lift access to the apartment.
Outside
Superb full width covered terrace with 2 garden loungers and matching patio dining table and 6 chairs. There are 3 outdoor pools, 2 within 75 meters, with ample sun loungers and sunbathing areas. The indoor pool and gym complex comprises a fully equipped gym, pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna. Changing rooms with shower and wc facilities.
Coast/Beach
There are many beaches to choose from along the coast, however the nearest beach to the development is only 2/3km approximately 5/10 minutes by car.
Golf
Benatalaya overlooks Atalaya Park Golf course, both old and new, and is a 5 minute drive away. An internal road from the development is in construction enabling access to the club. There are several other courses with 10 minutes drive including Royal Flamingos (home to the PGA Seniors Matchplay) Guadalmina, north and south and El Pariaso.
Skiing
For those interested in Skiing breaks, Sierra Nevada is 230km (approximately 3 hours drive) away. Please contact us for further details and recommendations.
Travel
Malaga airport is approximately 45 minutes from Benatalaya and Gibraltar is also an option being approximately the same distance to the west. Hiring a car is strongly recommended although taxi's are always available should you wish to leave the car at the apartment.
Distances
Benahavis which has a wide selection of restaurants and small shops is 5km up the mountain, San Pedro which also has good restaurants, shops and an extensive promonade is also 5km away and Puerto Banus is only 10km. Marbella town is 15km. All these places are easy to find and no more than 10-20 minutes drive.
Further details
The local supermarket, newsagent and basic shops are all situated on a parade with 5 minutes drive of the apartment. For minor necessities (milk, tea, bread etc,) there is a petrol station within 1 Km which is open 7 days a week (something rare on the coast).

A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking and the balance of payment wil be required 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.
Cancellation refunds:
Up to 8 weeks - no cancellation charge.
4-8 weeks - 50% of rate refund.
2-4 weeks - 25% of rate refund.
Less than 2 weeks - no refund.
