Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. Arrival is after 3pm and departure 12 noon unless prior arrangements have been made.
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed, fitted wardrobes and en-suite facilities. There are also two terraces from the master suite. Bedroom 2 has twin beds and en-suite facilities and bedroom 3 is on the ground floor with twin beds and bathroom adjacent. |
| Bathrooms: | En-suite to bedroom 1 has bath with shower over, vanity unit, wc and bidet. En-suite to bedroom 2 has bath with shower over, washbasin, wc and bidet. Bathroom adjacent to bedroom 3 has walk in shower, washbasin, wc and bidet. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is fully equipped including an electric hob and oven with extractor, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, juicer, coffee maker etc. |
| Utility Room: | The utility room has washing machine, iron and ironing board together with usual cleaning equipment. |

Towels and linen are provided. The villa will be 'spick and span' for your arrival and a charge of 90 euros will be made at the end of your stay for cleaning services. Should you require maid/cleaning services this can be arranged at an additional cost. |

Notes on accommodation
A travel cot is provided and a highchair can be provided on request together with a stair guard. No smoking is allowed under any circumstances inside the property. No pets are allowed.
Accessibility
Polaris World caters well for the less mobile guests with wheelchair access. The villa has a downstairs bedroom and bathroom adjacent although access to the kitchen could be restricted for a wheelchair.
Outside
A beautiful swimming pool with Roman steps awaits you outside. Sit and relax on the comfortable loungers. There is table and chairs and built in barbeque in the private garden.
Coast/Beach
The location of La Torre Golf resort on the Costa Calida is twenty minutes away from miles of safe sandy beaches of the warm Mar Menor waters.
Golf
The property is adjacent to the 15th green and together with the La Torre course golfers are able to play the Polaris World Mar Menor course (at present nine holes) and the newly opened El Valle course. All these have been designed by Jack Nicklaus and there is also a magnificent clubhouse, golf academy and driving range. There is also a residents discount for golf, please ask for details at the time of booking. Roda Golf and Serena golf and within 15 minutes together with Mosa Trajectum and Torre Pacheco. A little further afield you will be able to play La Finca, Las Rambles, Campoar and Villamartin to name but a few. The La Manga Club is also approximately 20 minutes drive away. Its the ideal location for a golfing holiday in Spain.
Special interest holidays
Water sports feature greatly in the area with the many sandy beaches of the Costa Calida. The Mar Menor is ideal for families with its calm, warm and shallow waters. Cycling and horseriding are also popular pastimes in the region.
Travel
Murcia Airport with daily flights to the UK is 15 minutes drive away and Alicante International Airport is approximately 60 minutes. A new airport at Corvera is due to open in 2009 and this will be approximately 20 minutes away. Car hire is recommended to visit all that the area has to offer. However, at present there is a shuttle bus between Polaris resorts and a shuttle to the beach club planned for the future bar hire is not a necessity.
Distances
Murcia, historical town of the region is 20 mins, with shopping malls, restaurants, cinemas, bowling etc. Cartegena, a historical naval town also has shopping malls, restaurants, cinemas etc is 25 minutes by car. Granada and the Alhambra Palace is approx 2 hours drive. Benidorm with Terra Mitica is approx 90 minutes/2 hours drive and Alicante approx 60 minutes.
For local shopping a complex called 'Dos Mares' with supermarket, shopping, cinemas, restaurants etc is just 10 mins.
Further details
Arrive at the gated community of La Torre to be greeted by tree lined avenues, whitewashed villas, town houses and apartments. A town centre built around an attractive lake offers restaurants and bars. A five star intercontinental hotel and spa are being completed as this is written (August 2007). There are communal pools with spas around the resort together with children's play areas. There is a well stocked supermarket and a health centre. The resort offers 24 hour security.
Booking notes
A deposit of £150 is required at the time of booking with full payment to be made eight weeks prior to your stay. The cleaning charge is 90 euros per stay. Any extra cleaning can be arrranged at an extra charge. In addition a separate £150 security deposit is required when full payment is made which is fully refundable providing no damage has occurred during your stay.
