B&B: 'The Lemon Blossom Room'

The room is light and fresh, the furnishings are hand made from Spanish oak and in the traditional Spanish style. There is a king size bed, a set of bunk beds, bedside cabinets, dressing table and a large double wardrobe. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided and are regularly refreshed. The room also benefits from its own modern and beautifully decorated en suite complete with large power shower, vanity unit and marble sink and toilet.

Apartment: 'The Orange Blossom Suite'

The orange blossom suite is light and fresh and beautifully set out. The kitchenette has numerous modern new base and wall units, there is a sink and drainer, gas hob complete with extractor unit. We have equipped it with all the gadgets you will need for a relaxing stay. Kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge. There is a bed settee in the lounge area which also has a table and chairs, TV, DVD, radio, DVDs and books to help you relax if you wish. The bedroom has traditional hand made Spanish oak furniture. there is a large double bed, a set of bunk beds, bedside table, dressing table and treble wardrobe. it has the benefit of a beautifull en-suite with toilet, basin and vanity unit and an extra large shower area with power shower.

Notes on accommodation
We have a private, well stocked bar for our guests to enjoy. We stock bottled beers, spirits, various wines of the Valencian region and the speciality of the house is either Agua de Valencia or the traditional sangria.
our meals are all made fresh daily from local fresh produce, bought daily to optimise freshness.
there is a dartboard and a new slate bed pool table to help entertain the kids.

Accessibility
The accommodation is all on the ground floor and would be quite suitable for people with mobility problems.

Outside
Outside there is an enclosed pool measuring 14m by 5m.
This is surrounded by a large sun terrace.
We have a paella house and barbecue area with seating and we provide barbecue and paella evenings for interested parties.
We also have a small but well equipped modern gym with professional treadmill, lateral bike and a cross trainer.

Coast/Beach
We are approx 6 miles to the local beaches which are to say the least absolutely stunning. They stretch as far as the eye can see and are beautiful white deep sandy beaches. The local beach of Gandia and Oliva have both been awarded best beaches in Spain award for 2006/2007. Gandia beach is very Spanish with a promenade running along its complete length, with a vast array of shops, bars, restaurants running along the promenade. Oliva is more quieter with dunes and is less commercial.

Golf
The Club Oliva Nova 18-hole golf course and complex is only 20 minutes away.
The course was designed by Seve Ballesteros and is an amazing complex complete with pools, bars, restaurants, beach area and a driving range etc.

Special interest holidays
I am a qualified PADI diver and can offer the complete novice a try dive in the pool,
We are also part of a local diving club which is affiliated to BSAC and have fully qualified instructors offering interested parties fully insured dives across the region from shore dives to boat dives from reefs to caves.
All equipment is provided and included in the price of the dive.

Travel
There are 2 main airports for our area, Valencia and Alicante.
Valencia is approx 60km and Alicante is approx 120km.
We would say that if you are wishing to explore a great deal then a hire car is essential. If you are looking to relax a bit and do some exploring then we can offer a drop off and pick up service to anywhere you may like to see at a very reasonable rate.

Distances
The nearest village is 1.5 miles from us.
The main historic city of Gandia is approx 6 miles and is a stunning city full of interesting architecture and historic buildings the main one being the Borge's palace.
There are beautiful mountain views of the La Safor valley and national parks within easy reach.
Benidorm is within 40 minute drive for the more adventurous, with its bars, nightclubs and numerous theme parks.

Further details
All amenities are available locally from supermarkets to banks, doctors, dentists, pharmacies and restaurants etc.
There is a local water park and nautical clubs offering all manner of watersports.
Pony riding is available locally along with cycle hire and motor bike rental.

A deposit is required on confirmation of booking and the remainder is payable upon arrival.
