Notes on accommodation
A child cot and highchair and baby listening device are available free of charge (please request at time of booking). Air-conditioning and central heating make this a comfortable apartment for all year round use. The services of a local management company are available throughout your stay who can also greet guests at the airport if required. A small welcome pack of groceries can also be ordered in advance (please request at time of booking). Our guests qualify for a special discount at Roda Golf Course. Please note that smoking is only permitted on the terraces.

Accessibility
A private lift is available from the secure underground car park which provides access for wheelchair users. Roda Golf has designed the entire complex to be user friendly with a network of concrete ramps connecting the various sites.
Outside
The solarium is 70m2 and provides a private area for sunbathing. It is fully equipped with a shaded swing seat, BBQ, extra large collapsable canopy, dining table with six chairs and four comfortable sun loungers. The solarium has 360 degree views which include the entire length the large communal pool and landscaped gardens. The terrace off the lounge has views of the pool and palm trees and is equipped with a table and four chairs. The rear terrace (bedroom 2) has views of the distant mountains to the rear of the apartment and is equipped with a coffee table, 2 seater sofa and two arm chairs. The master bedroom has a smaller balcony which accommodates 2 chairs and has views of the pool and palm trees. All of the terraces are equipped with wall lights for evening entertainment. A number of external power points are also available to plug in radios or the baby listening device.
Coast/Beach
Roda Golf Resort is just under 2km from the award winning beaches of Los Narejos/Los Alcazares. The Mar Menor (little sea) is a shallow, warm and safe stretch of coastline famous for the beneficial health properties of its salts and minerals. The density of the water makes snorkelling effortless and it is very popular for sailing tuition with numerous places to hire canoes etc. In 2007, Roda Golf are opening an exclusive beach clubhouse/restaurant with a shuttle service running from the resort.
Golf
Roda Golf and Beach Resort is a magnificent 18 hole, 72 par course, designed by Dave Thomas with Sam Torrance as the club captain. The course has already hosted some top level championships which include; PGA's International Team Championship, the Mar Menor Challenge Championship and the Toreno Calidona- League of Stars. Calidona has also secured an agreement with the European PGA to allow Roda Golf to become the first PGA golf academy and course in Europe. The clubhouse has superb views over the 18th green and lake and has a quality bar/restaurant. Guests at our apartment benefit from a discounted rate (please ask for details at time of booking). Please contact for further details. In addition to Roda Golf course there are many golf courses within a 30 minute drive from the apartment. These include La Manga Club, Torre Pacheco Golf Course, Los Ramblas, Campoamor and Villamartin Golf Courses.
Travel
San Javier airport (MJV) is approx 10 min drive to Roda Golf, whilst Alicante airport takes 35-40 mins. Roda Golf Resort has easy access to the main A-7. Car hire is highly recommended. The local train station links in with the major towns. A high speed train (AVE) is due for completion and will connect Murcia with Madrid and Valencia.

Los Alcazares is 2km away. Murcia is 20 mins drive away. La Manga is 30 mins drive away. Cartagena is 30 mins drive away. Close to motorway (A-7).
Further details
There are various outdoor markets all within a short drive of Roda Golf. Details can be found in the apartment and Tourist Information Centre located in Los Alcazares. There is also a range of restaurants closeby. An exceptional fish restaurant 'Roblemar' is located in El Oasis (within 3km of Roda Golf en route from the A-7 turn off).
Booking notes
A £100 deposit will be required to cover breakages, damages etc and is fully refundable within two weeks on completion of damage check, immediately after checkout. 10% deposit required on booking (non refundable). Full payment required 6 weeks prior to arrival date.
