Formally a horse riding club and stables. Los Laureles has recently been refurbished into a charming bed and breakfast hotel. Situated on the hill of Los Pinos, it gives us a semi-rural ambience but with only a 5 minute walk to the town and beaches. For those that prefer quite relaxation in the sun, take the advantage of our pool which has fantastic views over Almuñecar Town.

We have 2 double rooms, 1 double room with sofa bed and 1 twin room. All the rooms have been recently refurbished to a high standard. All the rooms are very spacious and have en-suite bathroom facilities!
The 2 double rooms and 1 twin room have a communal terrace with fantastic views of the town. The double room with sofa bed also has a terrace which is surrounded by a tropical garden!

 

Notes on accommodation
All the rooms are fitted with refrigerator, digital TV, electric fan, and portable heating.

Outside
The Hotel is set in very spacious surroundings, with ample car parking facilities, attractive tropical gardens, terraces with outdoor furniture (barbecue, tables, chairs, umbrellas, outdoor heater...). The Hotel has a private and lovely raised swimming pool with great views of the town and surrounding mountains.

Coast/Beach
Los Laureles is a five minute stroll to the beaches and town centre.

We can provide information about local sporting and leisure activities such as: paragliding, horse riding, wind surfing, hiking, climbing, etc. Aquapark, Loro Park, Aquarium, etc.
We also have information about local events and historical sites in the town of Almuñecar such as: Easter week, Local fair, markets, etc. Historical Fenician, Roman and Muslim sites.

Travel
The nearest airport is Granada or Malaga, both of which are about one hour drive from Almuñecar. There are also coach facilities from both cities. Car rental can be arranged from either airport.

1 hour from Alpujarras (Lanjaron, Orjiva, Cañar).
1 hour from Alhama village (Natural thermal pools).
1 hour from Malaga.
20 minutes from Nerja (Nerja Caves).
30 minutes from Peña Escrita National Park.
30 minutes from Jete and Otivar, traditional Spanish villages.

Further details
Being situated 5 minutes from town, there are shops, restaurants, banks and supermarkets readily available. The Aquapark, Loro Sexi, Aquarium and many Historical sites are also within walking distance.
