This air-conditioned villa, is situated on the prestigious Monte Pego development of luxury private properties with spectacular views over the local countryside to the Mediterranean. Located in an area where wild flowers mingle with orange, almond, and olive trees and the villages are totally unspoilt. The property is furnished and equipped to a very high standard, this beautiful detached villa has everything you could wish for in a perfect holiday retreat. A restaurant and bar are available on the development and 15 minutes by car are the towns of Denia or Javea, where the bars, restaurants and nightlife are numerous. Following some recent renovations you can now drive up to the pool level which means there are no steps to climb to get into or out of the Villa (a common feature of Monte Pego). The terrace has also been extended to provide ample room for sun-bathing.

Changeover day
You must vacate the property by 10.00am on day of departure and arrive after 4.00pm. Change over day must be a Saturday in July and August.

Notes on accommodation
Smoking is forbidden inside the house. No pets/animals. A car is essential to visit the numerous varied attractions along the Costa Blanca. The villa is air-conditioned and is included in the price.

Campo de Golf El Saler 18 holes, Par 72, Design by Javier Arana. El Saler Golf club was voted the 2nd best golf course in Europe, by Golf World, and has hosted to a number of Spanish opens, this is a 'must' for the golf enthusiast. Only 1 hour drive from Monte Pego.
There are many other golf courses within striking distance details of which can be supplied on request.
Skiing
Skiing is available two hours north by car in Valdelinares and Javalambre

Alicante 70 mins on the motorway. Valencia 70 mins on the motorway. Murcia 115 mns on the motorway. Car is essential.
Distances
Denia is the nearest large town/city and is about 10 miles away. The town of Pego is about 5/6 miles away. 30 minutes on the motorway takes you to the theme park Terra Mitica and the water park Aqualandia.

I live in Ireland (north-west) with my wife and 2 grown up children. My wife and I both work and spend most of our holidays in our villa in Monte Pego which we just love to go to.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We love the peace and quiet around the villa, the orange groves and paddy fields (yes rice!) which we overlook and best of all the sunsets. It is easy to get to - just over an hour from either Alicante or Valencia airports and has lots of restaurants nearby to suit every taste and pocket.
Unique benefits of the property
Being on the side of a mountain most of the villas in Monte Pego you have to climb steps either to get into or out off. Our drive takes to up to ground level - no more steps apart from one step to get into the villa. Air-conditionong is a must. We extended the terrace by 35 sq.m for those who like to sunbath. Also our outdoor table is covered with a roof which is really appreciated when you want to get out of the mid-day heat but still able to eat outside.
