This fully equipped 3 bedroom villa is situated on the edge of the exclusive Mar Menor resort but is only 5 minutes walk from the golf club and main club facilities. The villa has its own pool and very large patio area with range of plants providing a tranquil and peaceful oasis that is not overlooked. Guests can enjoy all the facilities of the Polaris World resort including golf, gym, swimming, restaurants and bars and have the convenience of a supermarket, bank, beauty salon, exclusive spa, and medical centre on site. The Spanish town of Los Alcazares is only 10 minutes drive with its 7 kms of promenade and a range of local restaurants and bars. The local area is very popular with Spanish holiday makers and hence has a very local cultural feel to the whole area. Golfers can take advantage of playing at the other Polaris World Resort golf courses nearby plus there are a number of other courses within 1 hours drive.

There is a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor which is useful for those not wishing to use the stairs.
Outside
The patio is surrounded by pleasant plants and there is a BBQ plus table and chairs for outside eating, plus sun beds and reclining chairs. The pool is for the private use of the villa only.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is 10 minutes drive by car.
Golf
The villa is located on the famous Polaris World Golf Resort with a 18 hole course. There are three other polaris world golf resorts nearby, all of which offer resident discounts on green fees. There are 5 other golf courses within driving distance, including La Manga, Villamartina, Lomas de Campoamor and Roda.
Travel
The local airport is Murcia (San Javier), which has a number of flights from both Easyjet and Ryanair, is only 15 minutes drive from the resort. Use of a car is recommended. Alicante airport is only 50 minutes drive from the Mar Menor Resort.
Distances
Costa Calida has the wonderful mild Mediterranean climate and hence over 300 days of sunshine per year. The Mar Menor is the largest natural saltwater lagoon in Europe and ideal for both swimming and sailing. There are three nature reserves, Calblanque, the Regional Park of San Pedro and the Marine Reserve of the Hormogas Isles.
Further details
Torre Pacheco is 2 kms from the resort, a typical small Spanish with supermarkets, restaurants and bars and direct travel links to Cartagena and Murica. Los Alcazares is approximately 10 minutes drive and is the largest town on the Mar Menor. With 7 kms of promenade, sandy beaches, plus a number of restaurants, bars and shops is ideal for all the family. The capital city of Costa Calida is Murcia with its spectacular cathedral and is steeped in history and art is only 30 minutes drive the villa. The Roman amphitheatre, at Cartagena, which is about 25 minutes drive, is worth a visit together with a wander around the rest of this ancient seaport and naval dockyard.
There are a number of local fiesta throughout the region plus plenty of local markets. The Mar Menor area is ideal for all local sporting activities including cycling, walking, sailing, waterskiing, windsurfing, snorkelling and scuba diving plus is renowned for therapeutic mud baths located along the coast.
