Only 12 km from Marbella and 14 km from Fuengirola it's hard to believe that a hidden jewel, such as Puerto Cabopino, exists in the heart of the Costa del Sol. With an attractive beach, relaxed atmosphere, picturesque harbour and renowned restaurants, Puerto Cabopino - ex-"Eldorado" location - is undoubtedly the Coast's best kept secret. Lifeguards, on duty throughout the summer, combined with the beach's gentle slope into the sea make Cabopino child-friendly and safe. The sand is well maintained, clean and of a superior quality to other beaches along the Costa del Sol. Beachside bars and restaurants are plentiful and renowned for their excellent quality. The split-level apartment situated in the Port area itself, has magnificent views over the swimming pool, sea and marina. Double bedroom, small twin bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, lounge/dining room with sunny balcony. Direct access to the beach through garden and pool area.

Changeover day
Minimum lets of 7 days preferred but please ask re. shorter stays. Changeover day is flexible.

Notes on accommodation
Private car park adjacent to block, two elevators to apartment in the beautiful entrance lobby. The apartment has a fantastic through breeze - airconditioning in living area. The apartment has a wonderful through breeze in any case. We can normally only accommodate a maximum of 4 - the apartment is ideally suited to couples or families with 2 children as the 2nd bedroom is small but compact.
Accessibility
A few stairs lead from the upper level where master bedroom is situated, to lower level leading to rest of accommodation including bedroom 2. This may not be practical for wheelchair users.
Outside
The terrace, which overlooks the pool and sea, has a table, chairs and recliner. The private swimming pool and children's pool is set in beautifully maintained tropical gardens. Lifeguards on duty in high season.
Coast/Beach
The spectacular beach with beachside bars and restaurants is reached via the garden and pool areas. For those who may be inclined, there is a secluded nudist beach further up the coast, within walking distance from the apartment!
Golf
1 km to Cabopino Golf across the road in Calahonda and within easy proximity to many other golf courses along the Costa del Sol.
Special interest holidays
The weather in the Costa del Sol is fine and sunny for most of the year so it is an ideal summer or winter holiday resort.
Perfect spot for golfers!
Travel
Malaga Airport is approx. 25 minutes drive. Car hire advisable if you wish to do some sightseeing although there is an excellent taxi service at the airport and also at the resort. The resort itself is so self-contained with its own pool, beach and restaurants, you may not even to wish to venture out during the time you spend there!
Distances
The resort is approximately 12 kms from Marbella and 14 kms from Fuengirola. The exquisite mountain area of Mijas is only a few minutes drive away and Gibraltar can be reached within an hour's drive.
Further details
There is a mini-market at the resort open until 10pm Monday to Friday and 12am Saturday and Sunday. The closest supermarket and banks are located in Calahonda, approx. 5 minutes drive away. WIFI cards available from the Community Office weekdays. Our availability calendar is always kept up to date so please check it before enquiring.

About the owner
We fell in love with this beautiful property in 2003, whilst we were renting a holiday apartment for a week in the Port ourselves. We viewed it, loved it and within 3 days contracts were exchanged!
We ourselves have had some amazing holidays in the apartment but mostly it is let out for most of the year.
Our grown-up sons and their girlfriends enjoy spending a few days in Cabopino too.
It is a very popular rental property and a favourite amongst holidaymakers.
We take great notice of the comments you write in our Visitors Book as we want our apartment to be perfect so that you will come again and again as many do.
My husband Ben and I have recently moved from London to Spain ourselves and brought our little Jack Russell Billy too.

The greatest benefit is the beautiful beach, the beautiful view from the apartment, the accessibility from the apartment to the beach, sea and restaurants -all just literally outside.
This is why Puerto Cabopino is so popular - it is also nice to be there out of season when the tourist season has died down a bit - that's my best time!
