Casa Liron consists of a fully equipped apartment which sleeps between 2 and 6 people. Casa Liron is situated in the tiny village of Corain, which is approximately 5kms from Cangas de Onis. The world famous monastery of Covadonga with its mountain lakes are a 10 minute drive away. The famous cities of Oviedo and Gijon are an hours drive away to the west, and of course Santander is nearby, an hour and a half in the opposite direction. All are well worth a visit and are accessible by a brand new motorway which is free! Our guests will find a private sun terrace, a communal sun terrace with BBQ (both with stunning mountain views) and a private car park. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with all the comforts of home, all in the backdrop of a dramatic, rural environment, then Casa Liron will fit the bill perfectly.

Notes on accommodation
Casa Liron is the perfect setting for families. It is also safe from traffic, being as it is at the end of the only road in and out of the village. In the immediate surroundings horses, cows, sheep, goats and chickens and a donkey can be found.
Accessibility
The property is not suitable for wheelchair users as there are flights of stairs.
Outside
There is a huge communal terrace with bbq and chairs and tables, which is also ideal for larger groups.
Coast/Beach
Asturias has over 200 beaches which are amongst the cleanest and most beautful in Europe. They tend to be more intimate and cove-like with much bigger waves than for example the Mediterranean. The nearest ones are about 30 minutes drive and offer a nice alternative to the activities nearer to home.
Golf
There is a championship golf course in Llanes which is about a half an hour drive away.
Travel
Asturias airport (Aviles) is about 120 kms (an hour and 15 minutes drive). Santander airport is 150 kms (an hour and a halfs drive). If flying then car hire is essential and is easy to organise. There are also ferries from Britain to Santander and Bilbao, which also has an airport and is about 2 and a half hour drive.

Cangas de Onis 5 kms. Covadonga monastery 10 kms. Lakes of Covadonga 16 kms. Various villages of national heritage eg. Potes, Corao, Comilas all within an hours drive. Oviedo 65 kms. Gijon 70 kms. Santander 150 kms. Bilbao 210 kms.
Further details
Cangas de Onis has 3 large supermarkets. Also some excellent restaurants and bars. Every major spanish bank has an office in Cangas. On Sundays there is a morning market selling local produce such as cheese, sausage, ham, as well as fresh fruit and vegetables. Leisure activities include; walking, pony trekking, canoeing, white water rafting and paintballing, to name but a few.

A 25% deposit is required on confirmation and can be made by bank transfer. The balance is payable on arrival.
