Our property embraces a green policy-solar electric and wind turbine. We have crystal clear filtered spring water from all taps, we use recycled and environmentally friendly products when possible. The self catering unit is detached within our secure grounds. We live next door so are here, should you encounter any problems or need help or advise. It is set in a quiet location surrounded by almond groves. Within a short drive there is horse riding, donkey sanctuary and clay shooting. Mini Hollywood, Vera water park, Baza Lakes- with a thermal spa and Granada with the famous Alhambra to mention just a few attractions in this area. Oria village is just 4mins away by car where there are supermarkets, bars/restaurants, banks and a health centre (open 24hrs).

| Kitchen: | Open-plan kitchen with full cooker and grill, fridge, coffee percolator, crockery, glasses, cutlery and saucepans etc. There is a cool box available for shopping. |

| Living Rooms: | Table and chairs. Double sofa bed. English satellite TV with DVD. |
| Other: | There is a small balcony with table and chairs, roller shutters and fly screens to all windows. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
The unit is cleaned between rentals. All bedlinen and towels changed weekly. Pool towels supplied. |
Notes on accommodation
This is a non-smoking unit. Smoking is permitted outside. The pool is 10 x 5 and all one depth of 1m.40cm. The area is fenced and gated and children under the age of 14yrs must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Bathroom towels and bedlinen supplied. Pool towels supplied. The unit is cleaned between rentals. Change over day is usually a Saturday. Arrivals from 3pm and departures by 12 noon. These times can be flexible where possible. A free welcome pack is provided with basic items.
Accessibility
There ia ample car parking space within the grounds. The road from Oria is very good, turning onto an un-adopted lane to our Casa. There are five properties - Rims Rest is the last one.
Outside
There are sunbeds and the pool (shared with owners who live on site) is all one depth -1m 40cm. We have a secure site. There is a small private balcony at Casa Deejays with table and chairs. You are also welcome to use the terraced area above the pool with table and chairs under a covered pergola - which usually has, due to the height above sea level, a cooling breeze. Casa Deejays is set in a rural location with a 360 degree view of the Andalusian mountains and surrounded by almond trees, scenic views and unpolluted night skies.
Coast/Beach
An ideal base for walking, cycling, sightseeing, or just relaxing around the pool. Local shops and restaurants 4.5km away and there are markets you can visit every day within the surrounding area. We are away from the hustle and bustle of the coast but near enough to visit Garrucha and Mojacar. These are approximately 50 minutes away. Other attractions are the Vera Water park, Mini Hollywood and the beautiful city of Granada and the famous Alhambra, Baza Lakes with the mineral Spa.
Golf
There are 7 golf courses within the area.
Travel
Car hire is essential. Almeria is one and a half hours away
Granada is 1hr 50 mins. Murcia is 2hrs. (There is a new toll road which would take you just 1hr 25mins costing 12€). Alicante is approx 2hrs 45hrs. Driving from England can be an enjoyable experience, taking 1 and a half to 2 days (mostly non motorway/toll roads). Hotels en-route costing 30€-35€ per night. Stunning scenery between Pau (France) and Huesca (Spain) via the Somport Tunnel. A route well used by us.

Non refundable deposit of £50 per week upon booking. Balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival.
